Serrion stepped carefully along the side of the glowing stream. He had not been in Moon Dragon terra many times in his life. And most of those times had simply been flying overtop. He tried to follow a scent, that of a specific dragon, though it was hard to find one that seemed fresh... He was looking for Fury, he needed to talk with her.

Fury, the black Moon Dragon, was laying by the shore of the Moonlit stream. The white light filtered through the treeline and reflected silver on her body in a strange aura. She was, as any Moon Dragon, born to this land and a natural piece of it. It was home. Still she seemed restless. She sighed, her head against her forelegs as she looked at her own reflection. The white water did not offer a crystal image but it was still visible. She missed her friends quite truthfully. Little did she know Serrion was on the way.

As he progressed, something other than the glow of the lake caught his attention, that of light reflecting off shiny black scales. Serrion stepped closer to Fury.

Fury, knew he was approaching by now. She smiled to herself. It was nice to have him around. Usually the only time the two of them ever spoke was when it was a crowded moment. There was no time for intimate friendship when a battle was going on... Even Sheakria's presence threw her off. Now they would be alone. That was good.
~Hello Serrion.~ She said, hoping to strike up the conversation before he even came closer. She was eager to see him again.

He paused a moment when her mind brushed against his. He was still not entirely used to conversations with the mind. Himself and most of his clan in general preferred to speak with the Draconic tongue. They believed if too many dragons used the telepathy than in general their race would eventually lose all verbal abilities. He did not answer until he was within speaking distance. He smiled at her. "Good morning Fury."

Having been a neighbor for a long time, Fury was used to the customs of the Blood Dragon Clan. In fact she was proud he stuck to his beliefs. After all she had herself let go of too many Moon Dragon customs herself too many times. It even escalated to the point of letting the monthly ceremony of the full moon go untouched. After all she knew her family line appreciated the light of it but she herself found no more than simple beauty from it. She understood its symbolism but did not fully support it. After all was there complete sense in connecting moonlight with everything in the universe? Even if she saw herself as a child of the moon that did not mean she openly celebrated it... especially since she had transformed into a hard edged dragoness after the Red Moon Massacre. It had felt like a betrayal to the Clan when those red rays spelled demise.
"Good morning. I've missed you, Serrion." She said pleasantly with warmth in her bright smile.

"And the same of course." Serrion replied, he laid down not very far from her. Close but not enough to be really in her space, he was uncertain as to how comfortable she was with him yet. "It seems when we've seen each other lately it's just been for a short while, usually to solve some other problem and never just to see each other."

Fury scooted closer by a few inches. She did not wish to invade his personal space if he wished to be further away but she wanted to show him she did not openly mind if he laid beside her. After all even very close friends often did that in a Clan and she was sure he would remember that much about Moon Dragons at least.
"Indeed. I'm happy you've decided to correct that occurrence. How have you been?"

"Well, though I suppose things have been a little odd lately." He shifted a little, not minding that Fury was closer. "Very odd... Gaulroach and Ebony are in truce... Sheakria's been approaching me in a friendly way... Everything just is off."

Her claws clenched the ground unintentionally. Small ruts appeared in the ground from her talons. "...I suppose Ebony and Gaulroach in truce is unusual but Sheakria is fond of you is she not? Still I cannot help but be suspicious. What if Ebony is only working with Gaulroach to get to you and they're both using Sheakria as a pawn? Certainly her becoming a good friend of yours is to their advantage. I don't know... it just doesn't seem right to me."

Serrion flinched and was quiet for a moment, in thinking. "I had... Not considered that..." He was quiet again, his own talons just slightly scratching at the dirt. "But she seems sincere in her feelings..."

Fury nodded. "She can seem as sincere as she wants. I remind you she managed to trick you years ago and has only gotten more cunning... Still it's up to you if you want to trust her or not. This is only my opinion. I mean I have less than positive relations with her. After all, she and I are pretty relentless in our hatred toward each other."

Serrion was quiet for a moment, his claws digging lightly into the ground as he thought. It seemed like within him some great tower had just crashed down, and the builders couldn't put it back together because they were buried underneath it.

Fury, concerned, met him with a sympathizing glance. She moved closer and put a wing over him as a good friend would do to comfort another in the Moon Dragon Clan. She treated him no different than any one close to her. "Serrion, calm yourself. I don't like seeing you distressed."

Serrion sighed and rested his head down on his front paws. "Times are confusing for me lately... I have a decision to make and I am uncertain on who... What my choice will be."
