(Serrion's going to get mad if we keep this up xD too many posts for him to catch up on. We may have to switch over to our little side-story with our Crazy Crew)
Sephis flashed a bright grin then opened the stall door and led Attun out. There he mounted up, though he had to duck low to keep from hitting his head on the ceiling. After all, elves were abnormally tall. "Alright then it's decided!" Truth was he didn't mind riding alone with Chiyo. After all they were old friends from being on the Patrol so long.

"There would be no details of such. What is known is that the Warrior angels are charismatic, beautiful, and powerful soldiers. All that is known of this specific one is that she caused the victory of many battles in ancient times past." Yiethala looked to the angel who had sheathed the sword, and was taking a look around the courtyard, though she did not leave the circle. "My lord you will have to ask her yourself. And before she can leave the circle, and fight for you, she will need to speak to you. So she can speak eye to eye with the one she shall serve, and so she can swear her loyalty to you and your cause."
(btw, Fury and Ven and whoever else. Somepoint when your resistance characters are on their way to their mission, they're going to be ambushed by bandits ;D just my little twist... )

(Sounds pretty fun to me! ^^ Always good to have some fight scenes. Raiden stood, robes falling about him in regal ripples. "Fine. I will speak with her now, if the priests deem it safe. The attack will commence as soon as I have sufficient information. If I can, I will send her to the foothills. Ready the troops." &&& Chiyo offered a bright grin as Gala trotted out along the narrow cave exit. "Indeed it is - let's go and teach Raiden who's boss around here!" (Bleh - short posts from me there. Sorry, guys. x.x)

(fight scene? Awesome =D)
"Haha, a little over-confident are we Chi?" Sephis questioned as he trotted his horse beside hers. "We shouldn't under estimate him...not when he's been able to push back the Rebellion for so long."

"She will not raise a blade against you my lord. You are the one that summoned her, it was with your name that she was summoned to our world." Yiethala looked to the Angel who's eyes were still wandering the courtyard. "Until she has sworn loyalty to you she will not be able to leave the circle. If she does not within an hour of summoning she will return to her own realm. As you can see there is no hurry but... It is best not to put this off."

Chiyo rolled her eyes, urging Gala forward into a smoother pace along the rough surface of the road. "Eh, I know. But I can't be doin' with all this nonsense about him being the super-ruler of everything. If he were, we'd be long gone. Sometimes, it's better ta be a bit flip, y'know?" &&& [/b] Raiden nodded sharply. "Good. I will speak with her, then." With that, he swept down the makeshift stairs, descending from the platform and walking purposefully towards the etched circle and the figure awaiting him within.

Serra's gaze turned to Raiden the moment his feet touched solid ground. And she was watching him the whole way as he approached her.

The leader halted in front of the circle, robes swirling in the crisp breeze. Eyes met her gaze levelly, gleaming with chill and authority, the edges tempered with the beginnings of respect - a thaw in the icy sea. His voice was surprisingly pleasant, normal bite absent.
"You are Serra?"

Serra simply nodded. She drew her sword again, absent the flames, and thrust it into the ground, then knelled before him, one hand on the hilt of the blade. "Lord Raiden, the heavens offer you my service."

Raiden inclined his head, a smile curling across the gaunt lines of his features. Something like satisfaction faceted his eyes, melting them from unforgiving ice to expansive ocean. "I wholeheartedly accept your service, and welcome you to our cause." &&& [/center] The horses galloped on, kicking up the coarse dust lining the mountain path. Without warning, the forbidding loom of the low peaks opened up - the horizon was revealed, endless and distant across a wide expanse of grassy plain. One of Chiyo's gloved hands slipped from Gala's reins, fumbling for the catch of the covered weapon at her back. The line of her shoulders was tense. Uncomfortable. "Ach, these open spaces... nothing is more vulnerable than prey on clear ground..." (Hopefully that will start stuff up again? Apologies for the gap in posting - my brain broke. And then I got ill. xD Not a productive combination!)

(xD YAY SOMETHING I CAN REPLY TO! With all the stuff going on with Raiden, I couldn't RP)
Sephis sighed, his silver ponytail streaming out behind him as he shook his head to clear it of worry. While his family had never been the strongest of magic users, he still could rely on a little higher of a sense than most people could. "...I'm not liking it much either, Chiyo. Especially since it's just the two of us. Got a plan if we get into some trouble?"

(Lol! Sorry Fury, that was my bad. Should be keeping an eye on keeping the two sides fairly represented, hm? xD)
Chiyo threw her companion a wry smile, the wind ruffling her short hair. "Ah, only the usual. We need a good fight ta warm us up from what's waiting in the villages." Her eyes sharpened, looking beyond him to the dusty ridge of cliffs forming the foothills of the mountains. "But if the trouble happens ta be big, we'll can hope our horses are up for a run, eh?" One of the clips fell open with a metallic click.

(probably lol)
Sephis had his stallion run parallel to her mare so it was easier to talk and gave her a nod with a quick flicker of a side-glance. "Still I can't help but feel anxious. I'm not liking this. ...And shouldn't the rest of the Patrol be here? It's not like them to lag behind this long."

"I know."
The second clip fell away easily.
"Just hope they're all right. Never good ta be separated out like this; we usually fight better as a team. Well. At least there's two of us, and we aren't on our own! Look ta the bright side of things!"
She rode in silence for a few moments before cautiously reaching out and trying to initiate mental contact. Her skill didn't lay well with mindspeak, and the connection slipped twice before she managed to keep her grasp on it.
~But expect the unexpected, too. Feels like we're bein' watched... if we are, making them feel like they can surprise us will turn them careless.~

~I know. I feel it too.~ he replied simply. Since Chiyo was having trouble holding the connection by herself, he doubled it for her with his own mental resolve.
Sephis leaned over the side of his saddle and grabbed his own foot to readjust its position in the stirrups. Unfortunately though the tack was custom fit for him he had let another of the Black Patrol borrow it and now his legs didn't properly fit. If there were an attack coming up it could end up spelling some trouble.
