Fury closed her eyes and nodded. "Yes... I suppose you would be able to forgive her. Not to sound insulting...I admire you for it actually. It's one of the many strong suits you have going for you. Me on the other hand well I could never manage it. I lack my mother's empathy and my father's courage. Forgiveness never came easy to me. Simple, small things, yes but for always wanting my bloodshed and my death? How could I ever look past that. Silly perhaps..."

(Meh, sorry I took so long replying that the post is a few pages back, Fury. My laptop threw a fit again. >.<)
Venus nodded, quickly surveying the water sources she could see from their spot on the mountainside. "I think that could work - if we do pool our strength, it'd make sense for one of us to focus on holding the barrier while the other sorts out the ash... I've got enough strength left to do a holding spell at a push so neither of us would have to anchor the magic, but I don't know how long it'd last."

Serrion shook his head. "No, it is understandable. I will never forgive Gaulroach for what he has done to me." Serrion came a little closer and nuzzled her neck. "I am glad I know for sure now. I have more to think of."

Talana nodded. "So how are we going to split it between the two of us? And can any of the spirits help?"
Fury nuzzled him back and then reopened her eyes, glancing around. "Good luck with your thoughts... only you can make the choice."

Venus thought for a moment, talons tapping against stone. "Isandre and Sama could probably manage most of the magic, if not the holding spell. It'd free us up to do the ash, but it depends how many barriers they'll have to hold. Any idea how many water sources need protection?"

"Yes, but now I know what to think of." He stood and spread his wings. "I am going to Ebony's tower to ask for her help with restoring our forest. I'm not sure the next time I'll see you."

Fury nodded. "I hope it is soon... We don't see each other much. The Delvers have been getting bolder and bolder according to Mother. I believe I'll be busy dealing with it."
"Right... Let me just ask my brother. He knows the mountain better than I do." Talana said. She quickly sent Serrion a message asking about it.

"The lands will survive as they always have." Spoke the great golden dragon as it appeared before Talana and Venus. Shavron looked over to the damaged portion of forest. "We have seen worst flames on this mountain in the years, each time the trees grow back stronger and more resiliant than before. Absorbing a portion of out own magic into the soil itself. Do not worry about the ash Talana, it is a problem we solves ages ago.
"Then I will make it soon." Serrion nodded to Fury and took off.

Venus dipped her head, blinking in surprise at the sudden appearance of the Blood Dragon elder - though it quickly melted into an easy grin at being surrounded by the comforting presence of her friends.
"Nice to see you, Shavron - I for one hope it doesn't take too long to renew."
