"She will have to eventually. No mortal being can continue... Can strive for killing someone for their whole life." He said and shook his head. "No mortal dragon can, she will eventually choose it is not worth the effort, or even forget."

"Perhaps... but until then it will be a raging battle between us." Fury said. She heaved a sigh. "Don't get yourself caught in the middle... I'm sure neither myself or Sheakria would want you to end up getting hurt by our problems."

Serrion was silent for a moment, judging whether there was a deeper meaning behind that. Whether she intended it to have deeper meaning or not, he could sense it. "I don't want either of you hurt, and if I have to get in the middle to stop it I will. It's better for there to be three wounded dragons, than one dead one."

"Yes..." she said, a little hesitation in her voice. She wasn't quite certain if she should agree until she finished picking her words apart to see if they had any offense in them. She didn't want to accidentally insult Sheakria in front of him. "I suppose you're entirely correct. Three wounded is better than one dead... but let's try to avoid either situation."

He tilted his head slightly. "We have not talked much lately and I would not pretend to know you as much as I'd like to. I've known you longer but I know more about Venus or Nalia than you, your mind is a mystery to me. I just want to know if what your mother said was true."

"It depends on what she told you..." Fury said, a slight smile coming to her lips. "What kind of trouble did she get me into?"

"I can't remember her exact words." Serrion thought back to it. "But it was about you considering me as a mate."

Her eyes widened slightly and she turned her head away from him, a slight silvery colour coating her midnight scales. It was kind of a pretty effect but unlike some dragonesses who were fortunate to not have to stand out due to scale colour she was screwed and it was plain to see. "Well um... it's true. I suppose." she said quietly.

Serrion nodded. "I wanted to know if it was true or not. And asking you out in the open was the only way I could find our for sure." He watched her, his golden eyes were glowing a little more than usual. "I've known you as a hatchling, but when I saw you when we re-met at Gaulroach's tower I noticed you as a beautiful female, I never knew you thought of me as more than a friend."

She looked back at him, the silver quite prominent on her face. It dotted the black like little stars and brought out the bright gold of her eyes. "I have for a while...but I did not know how to ask you about it or how to ask what you thought of me. Serrion I admire you quite a bit but you have a hard choice in the way of mates. I am sure you realize the number of females who want to catch your eye... if not then I'm surprised."

"I have not been sure." he answered her truthfully. "I can't tell what others are thinking. I'm not sure what you've noticed, a lot of the time I zone out from that which is not right infront of me. I have suspicions but like I said I can't be sure who's friendly and who's thinking of more." He shrugged. "I spent so much time away from other dragons I guess I'm only now adapting to it. Then of course there was my actual mate. But that had been so obvious at the time."

Fury fanned her wings and watched little pinpricks of light filter through the membrane, preoccupied. "Askarti vamr drei essa..." she sighed, to herself rather than Serrion before she spoke again. "I bet you miss her... your mate I mean." It was a slight shift in the subject but still along the same lines.

Serrion nodded. "Same as I miss everyone who has passed, but I will not mourn until their deaths have been avenged. Until then my thoughts of her are guilt, we were both just in the wrong place." he shook his head. "Please, I shouldn't have mentioned her, I did the same to Sheakria. I killed thoughts of the present." He stood and went over to her, sitting again but this time beside her. "I do not know how many dragoness' you have seen trying to catch my eye, but probably less than have caught my eye. Even less that I know might think similar of me. You, Venus, and Sheakria are the only ones I feel there might be a going and returning thought."

Fury's eyes widened slightly again and she refolded her wings. She was honestly caught off guard to hear her name listed there. Venus she didn't mind and knew he knew her well...herself she had never been sure about...but Sheakria? Was there something there besides her cold exterior and brilliant looks? Fury so often doubted the emerald female had any love to offer anyone. Now she second guessed it.

This was the one time Serrion knew what Fury was thinking. He nodded and smiled. "Despite what she's done, and how she tricked me, there was still something about when I first met her that wasn't entirely faked. She's whispered to me at times, out of ear of others, and she had regret for what she did. I don't know if I'm too forgiving, but I believe her and I feel I can trust her despite what happened once."
