The Prophecy comes near, earth soon to die The return of the dragons doth draw nigh Five only will be able to win Five dragons of kin One will show the others how Knowledge hidden until now One will bring them all together For they are birds of a feather One will bring about destruction Giving the Seed of Evil an introduction One will light the way forever Bringing forth a world wide sever One will give there soul anew Bringing forth new life that is true
An rp I made up after I wrote this poem, it's about 5 people (15 and lower) that have to save a dieing earth, it is now like prophesied by the earth so long ago that the dragons show themselves again, having hidden in the arctic extremes of the earth for so long, Five eggs rest in a willow clearing, one of the few still livng place.
Egg of Kin: This egg lays in the small pool, almost dried up, with a saphire on a ribbon floating near by. It lays in a shop old and broken, most likely forgoten. It has a saphire on it's shell but is otherwise completely white. ::Taken::
Egg of Knowledge: Also white but with Amethyst in it's side and a heartshaped Amethyst brooch resting ontop of it this egg lays below one of the willows, covered slightly with powdered snow. ::Taken::
Egg of Light: This egg is an unusual gray, and has a few white dabs on it, as if the gray color was a template of some sort and was placed on top of a white egg. All around the egg in the center, are ancient Elden runes inscribed into it. And for some reason, the letters give off an interesting glow of light.. ::Taken::
Egg of Power: White with a ruby on it's side and a triangular ruby on a bracelet sized silk ribbon crowning it's top, and the hole egg black. This egg sits slightly farther away from anywhere the other eggs would be. This egg will only appear to the person who should be able to see it. ::Taken::
Egg of Truth: White with Chrysoberyl etched into it's side his egg has a circlet sized band with an oval shaped Chrysoberyl resting in the center. This egg lays close to the Egg of Light, but it lays in the water of the river, and could be mistaken for a pearly white rock. ::Taken::

(( Now, out of these five eggs, one will turn against the others. Also known as the 'evil seed'. That should be part of the plot, if you didn't get the hint in the poem. ))

A girl, age thirteen, with rumpled messy clothes and brown scraggly hair was walking towards her goal: the egg of knowledge.

A cloaked figure walked sighlently in the stone pathed road. The fabric that clung to the girl inside the cloak was a dark, dark saphire blue color. A few strands of bronze colored hair exaped the protection of the cloak as a small breeze came up. She looked to be around the age of 13. Along side of her, was another cloaked figure, but male. He had the same colored hair and same shapped face. The cloak he wore was green instead of blue. He too, was 13. The two were twins. Both had heard of tales that included hope, evil, and adventure. And all of those tales had been about five certain eggs. Both of which wanted to find, and hatch one each.

( can I be the evil one? And is one of these eggs certain as the evil one or does it really matter which one is evil? )

(( Sure, you can be the evil one. You'd be good at that. And for the evil egg, I'll PM you that so it doesn't ruin the roleplay. ;D ))

She sighed and sped to a run, hoping she'd find her goal soon. It'd already been a month since she'd run away, and it wasn't getting easier.

Being twins, the two stuck together like glue. No one could remember them apart. If one did something, the other join in. If they were ever apart, it was because one got lost and couldn't find the other again. The most unusual thing about the two twins was their appearance. No one understood how they looked so much like elves instead of humans. They also could talk telepathically to each other. They had perfect pointed ears, and both had a beautiful slender face; like an elf's. But even more bizarre that that, they had colorful eyes, with a range of amazing colors- that streaked like a flower from the pupil. Some people in the village called them evil beings, demons. Of corse, this was all nonsense. They were protected by their parents that shielded them from the threats and curses shout out at them from the streets. Soon, it had finally came to a point where the villager's crops began to die slowly, and livestock began to become sick, and they blamed the twins for their mishap. But there was a simple reason for this all. The earth was dieing, but no one could take in the painful truth, so they blamed it on someone to doge the real fact that stared at them right in the face. That someone was the twins. Because of their unusual appearance it was easy to make all the people of the town to believe that everything would be normal again if the twins were to be killed. So one night when everything was quiet, the people brought their pitch-forks and torches and ran to the house of where the innocent twins lived. They set the house of fire, and killed the mother and father in the process. The twins, escaped. Now, they wandered homeless, and unable to trust anyone. They'd steal food here and there to stay alive, and would hitchhike on the back of small wagons, leaving just in time to be undiscovered. The girl stopped and looked up to her left to look at the door of a welcoming inn. She stared at it longingly as if remembering an old memory. The boy stopped with her when he noticed she wasn't following. He came back to her side and followed her gaze and he too stared at the bright inn. Since it was night, the light from inside of the inn flooded outside and onto the stone path. More snow trickled down from the sky, and landed on the cloaks of the two teens. Suddenly the boy began to move forward- not towards the inn, but towards the stables that lay to the right of it. The girl suddenly knew what he was doing, having an invisible connection to tell what he was about to do even before doing so. She followed him quickly. "We shouldn't." She whispered urgently to him, grabbing hold of his cold arm and clung to it. "We have to." The boy said back, his mind not changing on what he wanted to do. "Bri, we can't travel like this. It's cold, and my feet hurt." He said, continuing to walk forward. The girl understood what he meant. Her feet hurt too, but that didn't mean they had to steal an animal to get away from that pain. A horse belonged to another person, not to them. It wasn't right to steal an animal. But at the moment she had no saying in what her brother had his mind set too. When he set a goal towards something, he would do anything to get to it. So, she stopped pulling him away from the inn and let her arm fall limp beside his as she walked with him into the warm stables. Once inside she slowly breathed in the strong manure of the animals and suddenly felt at home. She smiled at that.

(lol, you have to /find/ the egg. So, all the eggs aren't going to be together, they are in different places.)
They found a horse to their liking; it was a white mare with a white coat and dabs of brown and black on it. They quickly took the horse outside and rode as hard as they could before the owner of the horse could figure out what had happened. They eventually came to the edge of the village and went strait into the enchanted forest that bordered a small a creek, which the mare easily jumped. They followed the river into the forest until the found a large boulder. They stopped to rest and eat the food they still had.

She sighed. "If I were an egg of knowledge where would I be?"

The Egg of Knowledge lay under soft powdered snow under a small willow tree, waiting for someone to find it... ****** The girl lay down by the large rock and leaned against it, and took out a loaf of soft broad that was slowly growing hard and cold from the cold winter. She made a small glance towards the river to her left as she slid her teeth into the bread, and studied the small rocks in the creek. Something caught her eye. She looked over her shoulder to see if her twin brother was looking before scooting closer to the bank and reaching out to grab a medium size rock. It was about a foot long and half that height all around. It was very white, and... Well, looked like a rock. Up close, it seemed larger than before. She looked back over her shoulder as she clutched her loaf of bread in one hand and the large rock in the other as she pressed it up close to her breast. She sat down by the large boulder again and laid the white rock on her lap as she took another bite of her bread, and she began to study it. This white rock had Chrysoberyl etched into its side and had a circlet sized band with an oval shaped Chrysoberyl resting in the center. This wasn't just any normal rock. It was too big, and too light at the same time. It was also very smooth and shaped perfectly. It was unusual, it was special. She smiled a little. Maybe it was a magical rock! It may even grant her three wishes if she figured out how to make it do that. So, that's what she did with her spare time, and began to speak to it softly, urging it to do something amazing. She gave up when her brother called her over and it was time to move on. She hid the rock in her pack she had on her side and made sure no part of it shown so it didn't catch her brother's eye. She gathered her things and made her way back onto the white mare.

She shuddered...it was getting colder. Suddenly she could run no more, needing food and rest. So Kala stopped and sat under a nearby willow tree. She shivvered again and kicked some of the snow away...(and you can decide if she finds it yet or not)

As Kala kicked away some of the snow, she also knocked some snow off a large, smooth, oval, white rock. It had Amethyst in its side and had a heart-shaped Amethyst brooch resting slightly on top of it. It lay there still in the snow, balanced on one root of the tree. ********** The twins set off again and decided to go back to the town. They needed more food, because they ate the rest they had left at the water's edge. They got to a stop right where the forest would end, but still hid in the shadows of the trees. "I'll go, you stay here," The boy said, "and I'll find us some food in the market... Ok?" The girl nodded and stayed on the horse as she watched her brother jump off. "I'll be back." And he left.

She looked over at it, picking it up and huddling near it. "Weird rock...well....at least I'll have something when this is all over." Kala then put it on her lap and hugged close to it, warming both herself and the object.

(Just as a pointer: the eggs can not hatch until they are all united. So, all five eggs have to be together, and all of our characters have to find eachother somewhere. Maybe in an inn or something, but that's how they'll have to hatch.)
