Keal hesitated for a moment when he first saw it. But than he ran towards the glowing red stone. Was this what had drawn him? He kneeled down beside it and lightly placed a hand upon it's surface.

The stone started to twist and turn. Jemma slowly woke up. She stared at it. What was wrong with her stone? She looked at it and toucuhed it. It shook some more. She furrowed her brow. What was happening?

He had expected it to pulse or explode or something. But the stone was perfectly still. He rubbed a hand upon it's surface, it felt warm. And it was sorta pulsing. No, it was not a stone. It was an egg! He knew enough from his elf heritage to know that much.

Selendrile continued to walk through the forest. He had to hurry, but he didn't know why. Suddenly, it stopped. The ugent feeling.... suddenly died. He stopped confused and looked around the forest. What had just happened? But that was when he saw it. A stone. The stone was a beautiful shade of gray, and had a few white dabs on it, as if the gray color was a template of some sort and was placed on top of a white stone. All around the stone in the center, there was ancient Elden runes inscribed into it. And for some reason, the letters gave off an interesting glow of light.. Selendrile hesitated before reaching out to stroke the stone. It was increadibly smooth, except for the part where there was writing on it. His colorful eyes studied the markings for a while. He picked up the stone and gazed at it for a long while. Selendrile's eyebrows raised in surprise. It wasn't a stone, it was an egg. For some reason, he just knew that; though anyone could've thought of it as a stone. He quickly looked around and pulled his cloak closer around himself. He wrapped the egg in a cloth, and tried to cover the glowing letters. He did this succesfully, looked around, and headed back for town.

She held the stone close, hearing a slight scratching sound from the inside. This was confusing to her. Then she realized....No, not a stone, but an egg! A real dragon's egg! Or was it?
