There's a bear inside your stomach The cub's been kicking from within He's loud though, without vocal cords We'll put an end to him... - Bear by The Antlers Ebony rested on top of her soft, blankety bed. It was an odd sight seeing the powerful black dragoness looking like an over-sized panther, her front legs crossed gracefully in front of her like a lady folding her hands. She was waiting patiently with her tail-tip twitching back and forth. She heaved a heavy sigh, finally deciding it fine if she dropped her head to rest on top. After all, she could only sustain herself through energy exchange with the local plantlife for so long. Once in a while she got tired. She got hungry. And she got vulnerable. She was waiting for Ritorion, of course. Ever since Gaulroach moved in, she'd been sure to keep an eye on his daughters. After all, she liked to observe her potential enemies. That was the first rule of the precarious game of chess the two of them played, and if she could see how they behaved it could be to her advantage... but not just that. Truth be told, she never had the chance to have children of her own. She just wanted to have someone to talk to.

Ritorion padded silently into the room. Ebony had summoned her earlier in the day and Ritorion was hesitant to go, so she had put it off for as long as possible. "Hello...Ebony," Ritorion said. Standing awkwardly in the doorway, not sure if she should continue into the room.

Ebony lifted her head a bit more to look over toward the door, giving Ritorion a small gesture with one of her clawed hands. "You may enter. And for god's sake, relax yourself. I'm not going to hurt you." A smile curled over her blackscaled face. "If I were going to do that, I would have long ago. After all, I do allow your father to stay under my roof do I not?"
