**|I hope no one minds the intrusion (don’t worry my dragon comes in peace! lol) but I thought I might get Star Rise introduced (basically I’m bored! lol) since her being new and all.|**
It would be considered bad manners for a Dragon to enter a land which was not their own without firstly being invited or being a friend of the leader but then again in order for the Dragon to become acquainted with the leader he or she would first have to enter the land and it was because of this reason that Star Rise decided to pay a visit. She was a well mannered Dragon which was slightly unusual for a Dragon of her age being 200 moons meant that she was fairly well experienced with the civilized world but did not practice it, however, this was untrue for Star Rise as she had the advantage of having a mind that worked more maturely. Star Rise glided gracefully and beautifully over the desolate land which looked as if a great fire had swallowed the land whole destroying everything in its path. The stench of smoke and ash still lingered in the air even at the great height that Star Rise was flying at. What sort of reaction might I expect to have upon the inhabitants? I suppose it would seem reasonable to consider me a threat. Star Rise thought and decided that it would be best to show in her body language that she had no intention of causing harm. My having a heavily armoured body does not assist me in that area so flying would not be the best idea. Star Rise’s grey eyes scanned the land below for a suitable area that she may land upon and it was not long before she caught sight of a meadow, well that is it should have been one but the land was turned to ash but this wouldn’t be much of a problem. Not very appealing but I will just have to make do with it. Star Rise arched her lean but muscular body into a downwards dive. She let herself fall enjoying the feeling of the wind under her wings as she descended and as the earth drew close she flapped her wings in one swift graceful movement slowing down her descent and turning her body so that her feet touched down on the ground first. She hovered for a moment before she landed with a soft thud. Star Rise looked around her surroundings to find that she was completely alone but hopefully not for long. Someone will have sensed my presence now if not before. She thought and awaited the arrival hoping that they would not keep her waiting for very long as she wasn’t very patient.

Seeing a gleam that only light on scales could make, Sheakria banked to the right and landed in a smooth arch. Her golden eyes were hardened and measured- the gaze of a trained killer- yet her expression remained untouched by this sort of intensity. She carried herself well like royalty and even the dirt of the mountain which marred her talons could not hide her unique beauty. Still she seemed distant and hurt for whatever reason despite her gemstone like scales and her rough attitude. "Hello..." She trailed off not knowing who this dragon was. Changing her approach her expression softened and her eyes sparkled with a new life. "I don't know who you are but would you happen to know where Serrion of the Blood Dragons is? This is his Clan's territory after all."

Star Rise was growing more impatient each minute she waited but she refused to make a fuss about it since these lands were unknown to her and she did not want to act childish. However, once her grey eyes caught the sight of shimmering emerald green scales she could not help but feel both relieved and irritated. Star Rise could see that the Dragon who approached her was female and extraordinarily beautiful. The Dragon carried herself in a proud manner which would have made her appear very self-centered and self-loving if Star Rise did not know any better. She guessed that this Dragon did this in order for her reputation to be upheld. Perhaps she was seen as very tough and terrifying? I have no doubt that she is. Star Rise examined her approach carefully looking for any sign of a threat but she seemed harmless enough...for now anyway.
"My name is Rising of the Stars if that aids you but I doubt it does considering I am new to these lands. I have not had the pleasure of meeting or even seeing this Serrion you speak of. I have seen no one apart from yourself. You say he is the leader? Then it is he who is responsible for keeping me waiting for so long..."
She trailed off not wanting to lose control of her temper over such little matter as this. This Dragon clearly was not responsible and so it would be unfair to take her anger out on her.
"May I inquire about your name? I have given mine so it would seem only reasonable for I to know yours, does it not?"
Star Rise grinned in a pleasant way to assure her (and herself) that she was not going to lose her temper...hopefully.

Sheakria snorted and small trails of smoke came from her nostrils. She did not smile back but nor did she become angry or violent.
"Leader. Not quite, the position of High Elder belongs to his older sister Talana. You should pardon them. They may not even know you're here and if they do they've kept you waiting since they have worse problems." She took a glance around at some of the scorched areas that Ebony hadn't managed to repair. So it seemed even the great Ebony could get tired from too much magic use. She took note of it and tucked it away in her mind for later.
Upon hearing the comment about names, the emerald dragoness had to admit she was surprised. This dragoness- Rising of the Stars- must have come from far away to have never heard of her reputation. Normally even foreign faces knew or had some kind of recognition just from her colouring. "You are looking upon the face of Sheakria Anacria of the- Well of Gaulroach's followers." She couldn't very well say of his tower anymore since Daigmar took over nor could she ever bring herself to state she was from Ebony's lands because she was not. Just because her Lord was taking shelter there did not mean she would submit to Ebony's demands if there were any.

Star Rise thought about what the Dragon said and decided that she had best take it up with this Talana then. No! Perhaps its best that I drop the subject. It would be unwise to pick a fight with an Elder. I assume that given the title Elder would mean that she of high rank...not that that had ever stopped me before but considering that these are new lands...
"Then I apologize..." A chuckle erupted from deep within Star Rise's throat. "Yes I can see that. If you don't mind my asking, what happened here?"
Star Rise watched as the expression changed on the Dragon's face as she scanned the burnt area. She could see that the Dragon was interested in it but in a more deeper meaning that was hidden from Star Rise. I assume that she is not aware of my knowing of it even if my knowledge of it is limited. She listened as the Dragon introduced herself and nodded her head respectably to her.
"Then it appears that I am looking at the face of royalty..." She joked but oddly not in an insulting way that she normally would do. Perhaps she liked Sheakria? "I sense something bothering you when you speak of your loyalties...Forgive me...I know that that is not of my concern."
Star Rise was surprised by how quickly she managed she stop herself from inquiring any further. It was best to not make enemies.

A smirk showed through her mask of emotionlessness, curling its way onto her lips. "Not quite royalty, but close to it."
She curled her tail around herself despite the rut the tip of the scythe created in the ash lightly peppering the ground. "You don't have to apologize to me. I am not Talana though we're about the same age. She's red. I'm green."
Sheakria paused then snorted again. "As for my loyalties you'd best not question them. I am of Gaulroach's forces through and through I assure you. The situation is just...compromised at the moment is all." Living with an enemy. Pft, sheltered by Ebony. What an insult.

Star Rise chuckled at Sheakria's words even though there was no joke intended it was still amusing to her. She snorted attempting to regain herself causing charges of electricity to escape from her nostrils.
"The apology was intended for your friend, Serrion as I may have insulted him. I am also aware that you are not Talana."
She chuckled again despite herself and was cut short by Sheakria's next speech. Ah, the tale is then to remain a mystery. Her reaction and choice of words then confirm my suspicions. She was clearly up to no good earlier on...
"Your tone implies resentment when you speak of compromise so therefore I assume that the matter is not to your liking? Your master Gaulroach must be an interesting character, is he not?"
Star Rise flashed a grin bearing her gleaming white teeth in the process as she waited for Sheakria's reaction. Perhaps these lands are more amusing than I thought they would be.

"Interesting and powerful. He is not to be toyed with and neither am I. Before you start trying I warn you I recognize your tactics here. You may as well ask me outright whatever questions you may have. Playing this kind of game with me is not the smartest plan," Sheakria replied. Her tailspike sliced into the side of a tree to prove the point.
Her gaze shifted to stare past Star Rise and to the horizon. Sunset was not coming yet. She hoped it would have when she got here. Any excuse to find Serrion or Talana. "I don't appreciate taking up residence with the enemy. It's common knowledge in this land."

Star Rise chuckled at the accusation and how easily she was able to make Sheakria's blood boil. Yes, I definitely like this Dragon.
"You mistake me, Sheakria. I have no intention in toying, as you say, with your master nor yourself. I assure you that I don't play games, I analyze. I am merely attempting to figure out your character, Sheakria. I would do so to any new acquaintance so that then we may become closer but I suspect that this may never be so."
Once Star Rise finished she licked her lips and arched her neck.
"Ah, but I did not know that you were residing with an enemy as you say. Perhaps I should inquire to his or her name so that in the future I may be more informed? Or perhaps I will anger you further." Star Rise chuckled. "I like you Sheakria even if the feeling is not mutual but I can offer some aid to that and I give you my permission to call me Star Rise. This however is not to be taken lightly! Only those who are closest to me may call me that so consider yourself privileged!"
Star Rise snorted angrily at both her stupidity to allow herself to do such an unwise thing and at her lack of self control. I was doing so well too...

On the contrary, Sheakria was pleased to be given such a stroking to her ego as to be 'privileged' even in the slightest thing. "Alright then Star Rise... You may try to boil my blood as much as you please then. Still if I get upset you should stop. That is unless you don't like your internal organs where they happen to be." A smile now... very slight but it was there at the corners of her lips.
"Recent complications have caused us to have to leave our home, Gaulroach's black tower in the wastelands. Damn Daigmar rebelled and took over. Now we're forced to live with Ebony who so kindly took us in. Still she is our enemy and it is unnatural for me to accept her as an alley. She's a strong dragon and I admire it but I will not be brought to think of her as a friend nor will I think the same of any of her followers in that damned Ivy tower."

Star Rise's foul mood instantly dissolved as Sheakria spoke. That was definitely not what I expected. Its nice to know that there is at least one Dragon who is decent and intelligent. I was beginning to think I was the only one...so many fools who call themselves "dragons"! Star Rise grinned widely in response but it was a genuine one.
"I am honored that I may have the privilege of making your blood boil, Sheakria. I must admit that I am genuinely surprised at your reaction so that makes you quite intelligent indeed, however I had no doubts that you were. I am accustomed with fighting and it should please you to know that I share the same love of it as you do. There is however the problem of my having such a heavily armoured body giving me protection from such assaults as you can see."
Star Rise raised her head so that Sheakria could see her full form even though she knew that this had quite obviously not escaped Sheakria's notice.
"I can understand the position you are in and how this must anger you at not having the chance to spill Ebony's blood. I suspect that her kindness as you say must be the art of deception. Why else would she allow for such a thing to be permitted? I doubt that I have to warn you to take caution? Friendship? I would never have dreamed of such a thing to happen nor would I allow it. An enemy is an enemy but I admit that I would listen to reason also."
Star Rise pondered on the subject longer thinking of how her homeland was destroyed in a similar way and the memories brought invisible tears to her eyes. She could not cry anymore nor will she ever. Her power and determination was too strong to allow any such weakness.

Sheakria shook her head, the light playing with her scales and casting myriad fragmented designs around the forest. "Perhaps not deception... Ebony and Gaulroach have been fighting for ages. I have suspicions they may have even known each other as hatchlings. Whatever the case may be she is sincere in her offers and words but I dislike it. Daigmar is scum. He is powerful but too stronf for even Ebony and Gaulroach allied together. This is real danger..."
She gestured to the burned forest by extending a foreleg as a human would with their hand and arm. "This burned forest is actually not from Gaulroach, Ebony, or Daigmar. It is from a dragon named Rafael... It is not my place to explain that one. You would have to speak with Venus and Isandre. They know more than I do on the subject."

Star Rise nodded her head processing the information in her mind she realized that she understood the situation well that of the result of having such intelligence but however she was not accustomed to "feelings" for she never needed to know of such things as she was trained for battle. This as a result made her unsure of how to react to Sheakria's insight but she suspected there was more to it than that. Is she holding information from me on purpose? Star Rise wondered and after a moment of pondering opened her mouth to speak.
"It is kind of you to provide me with this information and for that I am grateful. I feel that my opinion on these matters are unwelcome so I will not question you further. I am also grateful that you spared your time to converse with me even though a wiser Dragon might have continued their search."
Star Rise chuckled and bowed her head to Sheakria in gratitude but she was reluctant to leave wishing to converse more but perhaps on a different subject. Star Rise instead looked around at the destroyed land and wondered what might have provoked this Rafael in doing something like this. Hardly an accomplishment just a large portion of burnt land. What had he hoped to gain from this?
"Perhaps I should ask the Dragon himself? I'm sure Venus and Isandre would offer an exceptional insight but asking Rafael himself would surely be more interesting?"
Star Rise grinned and she was perfectly serious in her statement but would Sheakria see that? She was not the type to joke about matters like this.

A rolling chuckle escaped Sheakria's throat and this time she genuinely did smile as she laughed. "Believe me, you do not want to go with that option. My personal opinion in the matter is Rafael is a coward. Though he was powerful in battle he avoided the actual confrontation in order to play with us. He then expected his pawns to bring him victory."
Examining a green steel-hard talon for a moment or two she mulled it over. "He even had his own lieutenant battle me. Neraika was strong with mental magic I will give her that... but physically she is a joke in comparison to me. That tiger-striped wench will pay for picking a fight. She fought without any honor and thus earns my scorn. ...As for your opinions, Star Rise you are free to have them. You are a mindless drone without opinions and I dare not snatch them from you. Nobody deserves to be brainwashed or without identity."

Star Rise rose an eyebrow ridge at Sheakria and wondered what could possibly be wrong with paying Rafael a visit. It wasn't as if she lacked courage as that she had an immense amount of and she was quite confident that she could defend herself when necessary but perhaps Sheakria meant this in a different way? Star Rise had no doubt that Rafael was a coward just by looking at her surroundings Star Rise could see that he was. Star Rise chuckled at her last comment.
"Yes, having your own opinion is important and I thank you for your comment. I expect that is the closest to a compliment I have ever gotten and you have ever given. You do not need to worry about your battle with Neraika, no doubt you deserved a more worthy opponent but if you look at it from a different perspective you will see how it has benefited you; Rafael is proven to be a coward and has hardly an army to outdo you."
Star Rise decided that she would consider taking Sheakria's advice knowing that she meant well.
