The starlight is not just so! It is so much more than one could ever surmise it, Dewdrops shed upon the sky’s black canvas, Painting it anew with brilliance. This brilliance not so unlike the beauty I see within thy eyes my friend, Dear moon your rays are their own brilliance! Like a friendly smile, A bright illumination of happiness You greet me most every night Your kind is eternal, Celestial body made of pure eons and stardust, Whimsical in every way yet Fickle and easily shifting nightly shapes. My love goes out to you Only you for I have no other Thou art nature’s cradle, The true patriarch, Whence nature can be claimed “mother”.
