The dark dragon Gaulroach sat on the top of the tower, having flown up to reach it, he looked out at the forest with impassive glowing red eyes.

Sheakria winged up and landed gently on the top, looking out over the lush green forest. She tilted her head. This place was so much different than the wastes. Here life flourished in excess, hunting was always plentiful, and fresh water flowed. In her home in the black tower it was the opposite. Food had to be brought in, water as well, since nothing grew in the land. "Lady Ebony sure has made a name for herself with her plant magic..." she said quietly as she examined.

Gaulroach nodded. "We went opposite paths when we were young. She learned of the magics of life, of nature and the elements. Though I dabled in the elemental, I went opposite of her when I chose death over life, and Demonic or nature. All in all her land thrives while mine is dead, however demonic magic is different, and the life thrives in a different form. Still, I know that life is a necessity. I am not interested in completely separating from my mortality yet."

She nodded slowly as she comprehended his words. Sheakria felt her mind wander... she wondered how Serrion was doing. He'd been so angry and the memory of that made her cringe. She had never known him to lash out at anyone with even so much as a harsh word. Then again she hadn't been around him so much. She knew he had good reason, though.

"Soon Sheakria, I plan to begin the assault on Daigmar's lands, to retake the tower." He spoke this, and soon it became evident that the direction he had chosen to face was towards that of his tower. "I am certain that once he is defeated, whatever spell he placed on the land will weaken and die away. I am hoping for Ebony's help in defeating him.. And also that of the young Hellkite."

"Of course M'lord." She said. Sheakria smirked when she heard Serrion's title spoken. "He will not be used... he will need a reason before considering assisting the one he hates most in this world. Even Ebony's support might not be enough to claim his help."

"He will not be used, his request will be asked for." Gaulroach spoke simply, as if he had it all thought up already. "Once Ebony has returned, and Serrion's forest restored I will go to speak with him. It is up to you whether you wish to join me. All I know is that he trusts you."

"I wish to join you," she said without hesitation. The emerald female tossed her head as she looked to the distance for a moment. 'He seems to trust you'... those words would have turned her smirk into a smile but she had to maintain her composure. She was curious to see him again and see if he became further angered by her Lord's request. If Serrion became close to violence as he had before she could perhaps defuse it with her opinion again? Only time would tell.

"Serrion is a kind soul, despite me being his worst enemy I do not think he would refuse. After all, Daigmar would cause much greater, uncontrolled, destruction than I plan to. I am not certain of Daigmar's ambitions, but he does it in favor of demons than his own kind." Gaulroach told her.

"Ah... Daigmar always has had his own intentions though. No matter his age or purpose one could always suspect his heart and ideas led somewhere else even if he obeyed orders," Sheakria said simply. She felt her tail's sharp spike drag the top of the tower and then heard a faint noise as a result. She turned her head just in time to see a green glow that faded only after the hole in the vines was patched by new growth. Curiouser and curiouser... I wonder how much energy she spends on simple repairs like that? How can she divide herself so much?

"He strived to obtain power too far, going even further than himself to bind his services to a demon rather than the other way around. It corrupted him and now he is even less of a dragon than I am today." He moved a claw to the scar over his heart, it was just slightly bleeding. "Particularily today. Soon we will have to take the tower back, or my lack of contact with the demonic energies will take from me all that is immortal and I will die from these wounds that should have killed me a long time ago."

Sheakria was silent. For once she didn't know what to say until a smirk overcame her softened features. "Then we'll just have to take it from him and make that demon wish it hadn't employed a weakling. We shall prove ourselves stronger."

Gaulroach turned away from her, walking up to a different edge of the tower and spreading his wings out. "Now if you excuse me, I need to make certain preperations are ready" And he leapt off.

Sheakria just offered a nod and then watched him go. Rather than also leave she remained at the top of the tower where the world was narrowed down to this little pinprick of land and the lush greenery concealed her. This forest was not so unlike her Clan's home land before the famines hit and their leader had gone insane... and it hurt to think of how much she liked the breeze through her scales and the camouflage the greenery offered to her emerald body.
