Reroku sighed, staring into the bright waters of the Moonlight Stream. She placed a crimson-tipped talon into it and felt the energy crackle around her... but unlike before it rejected her angrily. She yelped and stumbled back, growling.
"I'm a Moon Dragon." she growled. "Yet I am not... so this place treats me like a traitor."
She tried again, this time putting her feathery crimson-tipped tail inside the cool water. The response was an intense pain traveling through her body.

"Because truthfully you are." Came a dark voice, it spoke to Rero softly though. The Black armored warrior came out of the shadows and approached the Dragoness. "It was through your help that the Moon dragons were defeated."

Rero spun, her golden eyes meeting the warrior. She relaxed, though shock waves of pain still radiated through her body beneath the scales. "I know. Don't you think I know?" She gazed around with a sigh. "But this place brings back so many memories of what it used to be... I'd never think it would reject me so."

"Memories can hurt." Shade said shaking his head. "If the past won't accept you then it is best to forget it. Live your life anew." He walked up to the edge of the stream and looked down at the waters. "Rejection is hard to face, but you will have to accept that."

"I've faced rejection before... but never so intense. When a Moon Dragon is cast aside by even the Moonlight Stream it is a sad day indeed. And quite painful in more ways than one."

"Then do not come here, If it does not accept you, then no matter how many times you try it will be the same outcome." He glanced back at her. "Unless you repent."

"I don't regret a thing." she shrugged. "I just came here because I needed to... but I suppose that need cannot be fulfilled."
