A red light was the que to the opening of the portal into this portion of the spirit realm. The light grew and a being walked into the realm. It was not a spirit, which was natural here, but was of flesh and blood. This red scaled dragon smirked as he glanced around, taking in the site. He took in a deep breath, even though it was not necisary here. "Ah, the smell of death, how I missed it. How I missed this realm."

A delver spirit noticed the red light and immediately hissed, running outwards with its mangled black wings outstretched. It roared angrily as it bared its terrible teeth.

Direinalich glanced at the hissing creature, a smirk twisting on his face. "Know your place worm." The hissed lowly, his whole body seemed to ripple all over until his flesh was gone and instead a skeletal dragon was in his place. And as quickly as an eye blink he was back in red scales. A terrible evil energy radiated off of this dragon, a strong aura of death.

The delver glared but bowed its head in respect then growled. A black shape swirled until it became solid, a black dragon with dark blue underbelly scales and gold eyes. Rage.

Direinalich smirked as he cocked a head to view the newcomer. The red dragon raised his head, black eyes watching Rage with interest. "You are in a dangerous place for your kind little spirit."

"Since when do I ever care?" Rage asked, his deep voice echoing in the blank space. At the sound the delver growled and flared its wings, drool dripping from its gigantic teeth.

"You do realize that should you be killed here, even if you are already dead, the effects are you will be permanently gone? Do you realize that there is no other level beyond death?" He hissed the question lowly. Lich's voice was like that of a dragon very heavy with age, even if he looked no older than his first hundread.

"I'm only half dead." he said, stretching in a way that showed he didn't care. The blue-black dragon yawned then flicked a talon in the direction of the snarling delver. The creature was thrown backwards, slamming it into a rock.

"Congradulation." The Lich smirked and continued to watch the other dragon with cold eyes. "You gurt a Delver, but like their living cousins, how does the saying go? Kill one and two more takes it's place." His eyes flashed menacingly. "Also your aura of purity disgusts me, I suggest you leave least you incure my wrath as well."

Rage narrowed his eyes, lightening dancing across his scales. "Purity my ass. I do whatever I want. I'm not going to leave just because you told me to."

"No, you'll leave because if you don't I'll kill that living half of you, then I'll kill both halves of your dead self. I hold more power in this realm than you could imagine." The Lich smirked. "I hold more power in any realm than I'm sure you could attain."

He snorted. "Go ahead. Even if I run it's not like I'm scared... And I have no intention of running."

Lich snorted back and his smirk only grew. "Stubborn dragon you are. But I suppose the dragon's these days could only have gotten more stubborn since my time."

"Which I assume was ages ago though you don't appear that old... something I do have to accredit you for." Rage nodded.

"As soon as my flesh began to rot and fall off I knew I had to develop a physical illusion to hide it." His body wavered and he was the skeletal dragon again. "The body is good enough, and every organ functions properly like in life. I can say not that I've truly reached the intended spot between life and death."
