Kane looked around, praying that her name really would live up to its meaning of 'warrior' soon. Ever since a few days ago when she'd found a shiny black stone her life had changed. It had brought a dragon chick, the first seen in almost a millenia. She knew that only this dragon, whom she had named Miskara, could be the first of the final three dragons.

((kk then...let's get started!)) Kane sighed heavily and then walked out onto the dewy grass...if her family had their way she'd already be married off and long gone. Miskara winged down from a treetop. That'd been his talent, flying. Though, he wasn't old enough yet to breath anything more than sparks he was still more advanced than he should be at his current age. After all, it'd only been about a week since he'd hatched from his black egg.

Lúnasa brushed passed a forest tree who's branches grabbed for her. She pushed it roughly aside as she trampled through the forest. Patches of sunlight managed to make its way through the tightly packed trees. Not to far away, a stream could be heard, gurgling and spewing water over rocks that had lodged themselves in the riverbed. Lúnasa was hunting. It was only her second day, and she was still bursting with energy. It was great to be out doors; outside. She clawed her way up on to a boulder and took her time to gaze around. Her violet opals surveyed the clearing before jumping onto a rock that jutted out from the river. She jumped on other rocks, till she reached the other side. Her quiver of arrows bounced against her back. She looked up into the sky. But she quickly brought her attention to in front of her. She started at a jog as she went into the forest again. Lúnasa continued to brush aside sapling and branches as she went deeper into the forest. She jumped over a fallen tree that was slowly rotting away with the help of forest bugs. Lúnasa jumped onto a large boulder with ease and again, she looked up at the sky. There, a black dot. She watched it silently and waited. The black dot started getting closer, and the faint sound of bells could be heard. At that, she smiled and let out a whistle. She held up her left hand that was covered with a leather glove, and whistled again. The falcon landed on her wrist, careful of its footing, and continued to ruffle it feathers till they were just perfect. "Find anything?" She asked the bird with an affectionate tone. The bird blinked at her knowingly before scanning the surrounding forest. "No, I didn't think so." Lúnasa said. She slowly and carefully lowered herself onto the ground. And again, she started to walk. Lúnasa walked passed trees. There was so many trees, and all of them looked the same. It was very easy to get lost in such a place. She soon came to a clearing. The morning mist swirled around her legs, and tried reaching her waist. But gravity had its effect on it and pulled it down. Morning due coated the trees in the clearing, and the moss had a little spring under her feet.

(( Oh, and with the dragon eggs. Do we find them, are we given them, or do we just suddenly have them? ))

((Ya find 'em...)) Miskara sat on Kane's shoulder as the girl walked. She noticed the springyness of the moss and the pungently wet smell of the mists. "A perfect day..."

Lúnasa studied the clearing for a while, and the falcon did the same. She'd never been to this part of the forest before, and it seemed nicer, but all the same a little... Well, odd. She found a rock and sat down on it. She grabbed her leather pack and flipped the flap open. She dug into the large sack for a while before she found what she was looking for. Food. She took out some dried meat she had taken with her before she'd gone hunting. It tasted great. She munched on the meat, and gave small peices to the falcon.

A magic hung in a heavyness in the air. Kane could feel it in her gut...and her ignasia. Miskara chirped and then suddenly launched herself off Kane's shoulder. The dragoness chick blinked at her rider and then swooped low over the forest.

Lúnasa finished her meal and wrapped the remaining meat in the paper, and placed it back into her pack. She stood up off the rock and started to walk again. So far, it seemed very quiet in the forest. It was rather nice - But Lúnasa was growing a bit uneasy about it. Usually, the birds would be chirping madly at this time. So why weren't they? She looked around at the forest once more before letting her falcon bound into the sky again, above the trees.

Miskara suddenly made a roaring noise and landed near Lunasa's falcon. She stared at the falcon with golden eyes.

The falcon screeched in surprise. It flapped its wings hard and quickly shot down into the forest. Lúnasa saw the dragon, and gasped, and at the same moment her falcon griped her wrist. Lúnasa quickly darted into the trees, unsure how big the dragon was. Was it a wild one, or did it have a Rider? She'd wait, and see if there was a Rider. If there was, he/she was very close... The falcon flew off her leather glove and into a tree above. Lúnasa climbed up after it.
