"No, we are currently cleaning up after it. You have actually come at the best time lately, usually this place would be too busy to accept anybody." Ebony replied. Sirus gave a quick bow of his head to his mistress before going outside to aid further with the repairs of the grounds.

Galla nodded. "Might we come inside to speak? It is not necisary, but I would prefer to talk in private."

"You may." Ebony nodded, stepping aside and allowing them to come inside. "We should go to my chamber, nobody will bother us there and we'll be free to meet in peace." She led them away through the halls until they came to the large emerald door which slid open for them, revealing not only a soft feather bed but an entire library of magics and fantastic documentarys written in draconic.

All of them followed, but the two guards just waited outside her room. Galla let her eyes wander a bit. "It is very nice. This little library alone other throws any at all in our territory."

"Thank you." Ebony smiled. "It took many years to collect all these treasures, most are the last of their kind."

Galla nodded. "As I had guessed. It is all very magnificent." She took a moment to look at it all again. "But of course, we have a very specific reason for coming here."

Ebony nodded. "Then I must ask...what business do you have in coming here?"

"A truce." She began and continued quiekly. "Yes I know that we are not really at war with you. But not all of our army knows that. There have often been incidents between scouting parties of ours. Dragons have been killed. I want it two be known that we are not enemies so that no more death has to happen this way."

Ebony smiled slightly. "What you ask of me is a simple matter. A truce would be alright. But on what terms?"

"Mostly that sword or claw shall not be raised upon encounter with the other side." She said with a nod and smiled back slightly. "And that both sides promise to not attempt to encroach upon the other's territory."

"Reasonable." Ebony said. "I believe that would be a fine truce."

Galla nodded. "We also had brought a peace offering if you would except it." Galla nodded towards the youngest elder and he lifted a wing. Then quickly released a bag that he had been carrying. It dropped it on the floor and slid it over towards Galla. It was full of an asortment of gold and silver coins. As well as a few gems. "It is not much but we managed to raise up a bit."

"Thank you. I believe I should give you something as well then..." Ebony started before motioning to a certain section of the library. "You may select any of those texts and take one back with you." Then she mentally called for Sirus to bring something up into the office. He entered with a bag of gold and gems slightly larger than the one Galla had offered.

Galla looked over at the tomes. "It is most generous. But certainly any of these are ten-fold the worth of what we gave you."

"Think of it as a worthy commision. You have a large clan of both humans and dragons. That can't be easy to care for without worry."
