A few minutes later...
Ellie landed in a sweep of feathered wings as they dissolved back into the motes of light and wind they were made up of. Falling easily into a battle stance, the girl felt the power rising up in her like a tide - fading the mark for this had been a good idea since it gave her acess to more power than she would have normally. Even if there was the added risk of her losing control. But hey, what's a little risk against the benefits?
Glancing around, Sarosh landed to the far left of Ellie, facing out towards the west of the square. Where are they...?

Lutalo circled in the sky, his wings creating shadows again. He then swooped down and landed softly between Ellie and Alieron, who's fire bird disappeared in a blaze. Marlie also landed, folding her crystaline blue wings and shifting into dire wolf again. Oh how she loved having the power and size...the ability to fight off all in her way.

Suddenly from the far corner of the square, a section of darkness blended away to reveal a team of six Reverse elements, all opposites. They found their Dark... Ellie thought with dread. This could be painful. Silently, they lunged.
Ellie staggered back at the wave of darkness that smothered her as the Reverse Dark attacked, hurling great waves of bleakness towards her, trying to snuff her out. Taking a few deep breaths, she slowly began to fight back, light oozing from her to combat the dark.
Sarosh was up in the air, busy fighting off a rather dogged Air. Fists flew and compressed air waves were flung, but they appeared evenly matched.
{Interesting to see what the Light does to Lutalo xD}

The Light Reverse stared him down. He didn't move. Suddenly the Light lashed out with a sudden movement, a golden dragon of pure energy appearing behind her. It launched itself at Lutalo. Almost as a reflex a purple and black dragon of Dark energy intercepted it. He blocked the punch too with a slight smile. As he did this, a shadow wall appeared in front of Ellie to take the Reverse Dark's hits. Marlie pounced on the Reverse Earth, digging her fangs into the fox's back. It would have been an easy kill had the Earth not changed form into something with harder skin. The Reverse Fire then came in, knocking her away with a large blue blast of fire. Alieron was busy with the Reverse of fire, attempting to get him away from Marlie.

Ellie flashed a grateful grin at Lutalo, before throwing a hand over to him and pushing the Reverse Light back, ignoring the friction when the same elements combined. From behind her shield of darkness, she took stock of the battle. When she next blinked, everything had gone dark. Realising what had happened, she shut her eyes summoning the light and allowing it to pour off her in waves, breaking through Lutalo's shield which had been changed by the Reverse to trap her. With a wry grin, she pounced, biting and scratching at the male Reverse Dark, all the while pouring as much repulsive light into him.

Lutalo shyed back from the Light. It literally was burning him...Tiny purple aura bubbles streaming off him like blood would from a wound. The Reverse Light grinned. She had him now. She twisted her arm around and pinned him, the dragon coming down on him. The Dark dragon roared and tried to intercept but missed. Alieron shouted as a burst of blue fire hit Marlie again. The young Earth elemental shifted into a dragon to avoid being burned badly. The Reverse Fire and Earth turned to him. The female Reverse Fire attacked him now, clashing elements. The male Earth went to finish off Marlie.

Ellie reeled back as the Reverse Dark delivered a socking punch to her right temple, breaking the skin. Ouch... Screweing her eyes up and throwing up a patchy barrier until the world stopped spinning, Ellie reflected that might not have been the brightest idea. But at least now he was full of dormant Light energy...
With a wry grin, she dropped the barrier, threw her hands out in front of her, and faded the rune even more, making her power stronger but less balanced. With a click of her fingers, the dormant light within the Reverse switched on like lights at Christmas. The Reverse howled in pain, but still managed to raise his hand and somehow dampened the Light, before he threw the girl an evil grin, and clicked his fingers.
Pain. Agony, even. Her own trick, and she couldn't work out how the other had stopped it. Fight...come on, fight it!
Sarosh swooped, still crossing blows with the Reverse air, a boy of Ellie's age.

Marlie lay there now, no longer a dragon. She couldn't hold the form. Now she was back to wolf, but this time a much smaller one. A puppy. The Reverse Earth cackled, standing over her as a dragon himself. He prepared to blast green energy at her. "I'll singe more than just your fur and pride!" he cackled. Alieron was being smacked around himself. He didn't have enough energy now to handle a phoenix, so he tried blasting fire. It was met by the blue fire of the Reverse, knocking him back again as she again and again attacked. It was like she never got tired. "Give up?" she laughed. He panted, getting up shakily again. "Never, bitch." he half smiled. She narrowed her eyes. "Then you've sealed your fate Alieron De Jaquis." "I may have...but it's better than being a wench like you working in the Reverse!" The fire again clashed.
Lutalo was badly injured now. One of his legs was broken as well as one of his wings. Purple feathers covered the ground where he lay. He winced. He couldn't fight anymore himself. The dark Dragon and the Light one continued to clash. He hated the sight of the Reverse Light now hanging over him with her foot on his chest triumphantly.

With a feral scream, Ellie let go of the last shreds of the control over her powers, giving herself over to the raw Light until she could harness her energy again. Now, she was consumed in a blinding, purifying stream of golden light - it burned through her hair, ran under her skin, and swirled in her eyes. It was only disturbed in places by the red blood dripping from various wounds. With a harsh movement of her hand, she forced back the Reverse Dark as he stalked towards her, and leapt at her, Light curling around him in a cocoon. The Light that used to be Ellie now turned to face the Reverse form of herself about to crush Lutalo.
Sarosh plumetted, wings battered and torn. How had the Reverse got so strong?

Lutalo lolled his head to the side, laying there...battered and broken. He could not fall unconscious, just as he could not sleep. He had to suffer through the pain. A word formed on his lips. "Ellie..." The Reverse Light's fear was plain on her face. She stood frozen, blond braid streaming out behind her as the wind from Ellie's shear energy levels hit her. Alieron was breathing heavily now. He would use all his energy at this rate. She was intending to kill him with this battle...that much was clear now. But how could the Reverse Fire be so strong now? Marlie whimpered as the Reverse Earth loomed over her, green energy building up in his open maw.

The Light-being turned to face the battered Alieron and Marlie, and poured some of her energy into them, giving them more strength to fight back. A hand raised to Lutalo, and a shield formed around him, aimed to sooth. Attention darting back to the Reverse Light, the blazing thing grinned ferally. "Why hello there." Its voice was harsh, with an untamed edge to it, not at all like the young girl who was currently totally out of it. "My little shell here seems to want to fight you for what you dared to do, both here and earlier on. So I comply." Hands moved forwards, and a beam of concentrated light streaked towards the girl.

But instead of being soothed Lutalo held back a scream of pain. The Light was not the best thing to put near him...Especially when his powers were so active.
Alieron blasted as much energy as he could muster before passing out. The Reverse Fire didn't seem very phased by it.
Marlie closed her eyes, screwed them tight. She was still too weak to shift from such a feeble form, even with the extra energy.

From inside the Light-thing, Ellie fought back for control even as she was being pushed down. "Oh no, everyone! Don't you dare just leave them!!" The thing paused and turned, growling as its aura of light flickered. Suddenly the tattoo glowed a violent black and the power faded as Ellie regained control, staggering slightly at the loss of energy. The shields faded, but she managed to keep spreading her limited strength between her friends.
Sarosh staggered to his feet. A momentary tactical retreat was in order. Barely managing to materialize his wings, he formed an airy barrier around them to block the Reverse out. Ellie moved over quietly, eyes dull. "Sorry about that guys...I tried to help, but I ended up making things worse...Lutalo, are you alright? Alieron? Marlie?"

Alieron was still out cold again. Marlie struggled to her feet with a whine. I'm sort of alright...but I can't turn into anything more vicious than this puppy. Lutalo winced in terrible pain as he tried to get up, he just laid back down again. "I think my leg's broken...and by the feel of it a few ribs and my wing too."

The girl nodded, feeling helpless. "What can we do? Somehow they've got stronger...and if I even think about ignoring that seal again, someone knock me out before I do something I regret." She flicked the tattoo on her shoulder, annoyed. It swirled an angry black as the darkness that sealed her powers readjusted slowly. "Any ideas, anyone?"
