The west side of the city, a lone shape stood on a high buildings roof. Just at the corner and on the edge. He watched the busy street as cars and people went about their day. At a distance someone would mistake him for a hedgehog of red fur. Though up close or in the sun they could see how the sun reflected off his red metalic body. The green streaks going on his head spikes that could have been real streaks if he hadn't been made of metal. He wore, or appeared to wear gloves and shoes, the "gloves" were grey and the shoes green like the streeks on his spikes. He also had a cloak of almost the same light grey as his gloves. Had he been of blue color, those who have seen it might have mistaken him for the last model of metal sonic, the one he had replaced. (so basicly he's a red version of the metal sonic in "sonic heros"). His eyes watched the people walking the streets, taking every sight in with his light like and lifeless eyes. Like every model before him, he had a mission to fufill. His name in the line of metal sonics was Havok.

Havok clenched a fist and scanned the streets again. Still he had no lead, no path he knew to follow. To find this hedgehog he was born to kill, created to destroy. He had never met the blue hedgehog, yet he hated him with an intensity. He had free will, a rare thing among those with artificial intelligence. Yet something that had popped up in the latest few in the metal sonic line and E series. It had been free will that had set Gamma against his creator and eventually metal sonic betrayed the doctor in order to get over his hatred against the blue hedgehog. Free will or not, Eggman had prepared a few precautions in this model, to always obey the doctor and no one other. So his "free will" was more of an oxymoron. He could understand and learn things as humans, and knew that what the hedgehog did was good for everyone and that the doctor was evil. But he had no choice in the matter, he still hated the hedgehog for reasons he did not really feel. And the Chaos Emerald that kept his body running would drive him to that goal.

Kitty smirked. She'd followed the metal hedgehog all this way...hoping to run into Sonic. It was her goal. For only by following Sonic would she find the treasures scattered about the unknown places of the world...chaos emeralds. The most deadly and yet most valuable things to her. She would stop at nothing to get them. Even now she felt the need to get one...sitting here on this rooftop and looking at the metal creature. Black wings folded, tail hanging lazily, and purple hair tied back in a braid....this was Kitty.

Havok blinked and shifted slightly, seeming like he was was about to fall of the building for a second there. Thoughs... As was the best word to put it as... Flashed through his mind. It was all collected scenes of what he had seen through out his short lifespan. Infact he was hardly two weeks old now. But these "memories" were not those he could remember seeing fr himself. They were... An other's. Not programed into him by his creator, but something else he was not sure of where it came from. The seven chaos emeralds... Amazing power... A gigantic beast... And the world's destruction...

She watched him, rather bored. Will this bucket of bolts do anything? ...And I've been tailing him for ages. Why the hell hasn't he seemed to notice me? Her tail flicked absently as her wings refolded. Nothing of interest had happened in ages...not helpful when you're trying not to be bored to tears.

Hazord straitened himself again and looked around, the memory's had faded and nothing was interfeering with his programs anymore. Though he was still left questionless. His sensers depicted a lifeform that he had seen enough to add to his list of specific beings. This one had been following him for sometime and was now just staying in that one place watching him. He would find out why... His body seemed to just blur and was gone. There was a flash of red and in no time he was standing right beside the lifeform. (kitty)

Kitty's head instantly snapped to the side. "So you noticed me at last, huh?" she asked. "About time. It seems you're a tad slow..." She twitched her tail again.

"Why have you been following me?" He asked, not even turning his head to look at her. His yellow robotic eyes lifeless. "Almost since I left the carrior, you have been following me, why?"

Her purple eyes followed him. "Chaos Emeralds." she replied simply. She smirked, flicking her tail again. A small metalic sound came from it...a golden bracelet around it chinking every time she thumped it softly down again. "Tell me the truth, you've noticed me before haven't you?"

Havok was silent for a moment, thoughts going to the emerald planted under his own metalic body. Gems of infinet power... "Why do you believe I would lead you to the emeralds?" He asked her in return, completely ignoring her last question, it didn't need an answer as he believed.

"I don't. I expect that you're going after a certain blue hedgehog named Sonic...who knows the locations of the chaos emeralds." she replied, twitching her tail still. She stood up to her full height, wings folded neatly.

"And why do you even think he knows where they are." Havok turned away from her, he could feel the silver emerald that powered his body pulsing. He was almost... The word was affraid he believed, that she would somehow see the emerald through his metallic skin. Superstition of course, he knew it was firmly hidden amongst data and wires inside his body.

"He knows." she stated simply. "I know that he does." She unfolded her wings and spread them before flapping them a few times and folding them again. "And I know that YOU know he does."

"I doubt he knows where... All the emeralds are." Havok said turning around to look at her. "The chances of him knowing where more than 3 are is 23%. Knowing where 5 are is only 7% likely and all seven is improbable."

"I only want one...it's all I need." she stated simply with a smirk. "For reasons I'll keep to myself...Let's just call me a 'treasure huning professional' eh?"
