Crimson's firey body did stop right on the spot, the burning hellkite though kept himself floating right there, he didn't come closer but didn't back down. His eyes narrowed hatefully. "You do snap their link, I snap you." He growled.

Rafael grinned maliciously. "Even if you killed me, it wouldn't help them." His tail gestured lazily at Venus and Isandre on the ground. "I would've still suceeded in what I came back to do."
Isandre's blue eyes fixed on the confrontation going on in the sky. Turning to her reincarnation, she growled. ~I remember this one now. He used to be a friend, but... the memory stops there.~
Venus, busy glaring at the raven-bridled dragon above, replied in kind: ~He's no friend of mine now.~ Isandre nodded her agreement. ~We help Crimson.~ The spirit disappear, and the blue streaks returned to Venus's eyes as she took off, hovering level with Crimson.
"If you think you have more control over our souls than we do, you'll be sorely mistaken!" the dragoness snarled, eyes blazing. "What do you want from us?"

Serrion snorted approvingly when Venus came up beside him, Serrion remained on the ground with Sheakria, allowing the Crimson hellkite to take full range of his power. "That is a good question." The flaming dragon rolled his neck. "Why kill them? They will only come back again eventually... I don't see what you get out of it. And if you do kill them there will be nothing holding me back from killing you... I don't believe you get reincarnated, do you? You just find a way to stay alive over all these years." His eyes flashed. "Meaning in the occasion of you killing her and me killing you... She would come back eventually, but you'd be dead for good."

A gleam appeared in Rafael's eyes.
"Ah, but you don't know that, do you Crimson? You hardly remember anything of me, but I know of you from your last life. How do you know what I am like, or what my motives are, or what I'm willing to do to achieve them? Even how I've stayed living across the centuries. Am I even the same dragon I was back then, or am I a reincarnation like little Venus here?"
To emphasize his point, Rafael put an amount of pressure on the link.
Venus growled and dropped back as if pushed. Isandre took over, projecting her thoughts to the little group. ~Meeting questions with questions, Rafael. You always did like to confuse people. We used to be friends, that much I can remember, but obviously something changed. Care to enlighten us?~
Rafael growled.

Crimson smirked and chuckled lowly. "I can understand more than you would careto think. I have not always been a 'good' being... I understand what types of twisted things go through the minds of dark dragons like Gaulroach and yourself. In my time of it I did some research and I learned something awful." The firey dragon smirked. "How to cut the spiritual line. How to completely stop a dragon from ever coming back, even a hellkite."

Rafael answered Crimson's chuckle with one of his own. "Now, why would I do that? If I killed little Isandre here permaneantly, I wouldn't have anything to do across the centuries would I?" Isandre's lip lifted in a silent snarl. ~Tell us what you want, Rafael. Stop with the riddles and questions. Either say something or leave.~
Rafael laughed outright. "So I'm commanded by the dragoness who should really have died centuries back! Who am I to listen to a ghost?" Looking a little crazed, he swung to face Crimson.
"I will leave you and your little friend for now, hellkite. But just so you know, nothing will keep me from my goal." Rafael muttered a word, and was gone.
Venus/Isandre cursed bitterly. "Long distance transportation spell. Untraceable. When is he going to tell us what he wants!"

Crimson shook his head, the firey dragon dissapearing. ~I ment removing you from existance permenantly Raefiel...~ His voice echoed to what he had said to the insane dragon. Serrion blinked and his eyes brightened up a bit, coming out of a transe.

Venus remained in the air for a few moments, still glaring at the spot where Rafael had been. Turning, she soared down to land, settling once more on the ground before sitting back on her haunches.
"Well, at least we know why he put that block on our link then." She smiled wryly.

Sheakria was tense. The second the fight had started, her wings had snapped into a ready position. She'd taken the stance she had down to an art with her eyes looking like hellfire. Once it was over, however, she remained like that... a threatening look. The expression on her face made her look even more menacing than she would've if she was fighting against Serrion and his friends. It was like she wasn't holding back for once.

After taking a deep composing breath, Venus shook off her rage and glanced at Sheakria. "Sheakria, are you alright?"

At the sound of Venus's voice she relaxed her body... finally coming to the realisation that violence was not needed at the moment.
"Yes. I apologize for my behavior... I got carried away."

Venus waved a wing as if brushed away the apology. "No need to be sorry-" She laughed shakily. "- I can understand why you did."

"I'm sorry if I scared you... You're not used to seeing me at my worst." Sheakria replied nervously. She hoped she hadn't sparked a conflict.

"...Yes, but he actually did some fighting." she replied, slightly ambarassed.
