Leander landed hurriedly in the forest where he had last seen Venus's friends, but now he could see no sign of them at all. Laying his friend down gently on the ground and rearranging her in some semblance of comfort, he opened his senses and stretched them out to their limit, encompassing the forest and the lands a little further out than that.
~If any of Venus's friends are out there, she really needs your help; some hellspawn's attacked her, and she's... well, she's a bit beaten up.~ He took a deep breath to reign in his anger. ~More than a bit. She needs healing, and fast. This is Leander, and I'm in the Black Claw forest since I couldn't find any of you. Please hurry...~
Cutting off the link, Leander curled up at the base of the tree, keeping a worried eye out for any sign of a saviour for his friend.

Serrion hurried out of the mountain, spreading his wings and immedietly flying down to where Venus was. His eyes were worried and flashing red on and off when he saw her hurt. He immedietly pressed the tip of his muzzle against Venus' neck. Taking no time in activating the healing energies and magic he had.

Leander jumped up at the approach of Serrion, a relieved smile gracing his features. As he looked on, the healing energy was absorbed into Venus, and some of the larger wounds disappeared, leaving her with minor injuries and bruises. Still, she didn't stir.
Confused, Leander frowned. Finding her pulse again with a clawed hand, his frown deepened. Looking up at Serrion, he smiled his gratitude, before saying hesitantly. "Her pulse is back up to normal. She should be waking up..."

Serrion was completely ignoring Leander, just paying attention to the blue dragoness below him. He layed down beside her, his muzzle still against her neck, keeping track of her pulse hismelf with his magic. Crimson had drawn himself deep within Serrion's concience.

Leander quirked an eyebrow, and started with surprise when a ghostly dragoness the spitting image of Venus faded into existence. But in the place of the normal gold eyes, deep blue gazed down sadly at her fallen counterpart.
The silver dragon on guard bristled, and the apparition raised a calming hand, eyes dull. Isandre turned to look at Serrion. ~He did something to her mind. Everything's shut off from me, there's no way for me to communicate with her.~
The lifeless hopeless look in her eyes flared with a cinder of anger. ~Whoever attacked her will pay.~

Flames started up abruptly beside Isandre. The form of Crimson, all in flames, took form beside her. "I know who the snake who did this is." He roared in angers, flames moving violently in responce to his emotion. A great heat came off from him. "Your death will be avenged this lifetime Isandre!" Serrion looked down at venus, nudging her lightly, he attempted to reach her mind now.

The spirit-Isandre sighed deeply. ~Whoever it was knew more about her than she was comfortable with. That was the last rational thought I got from her before...~ She shivered, and continued in a whisper. ~She went mad, Crimson. For a few minutes, Venus lost her mind. If or when she decides to wake up, there'll be scars from that. And not just on the outside.~
Red mist still clouded Venus' mind, cloaking her thoughts and blanketing any awareness. Inside her mind, Venus awoke, eyes bleary. ~What happened? Isandre...?~ Nothing.

Serrion winced. ~Crimson, help.~ He calle dout to the hellkite. Crimson nodded and focussed his mental powers into Serrion. the young red dragon attempted to clear away through this red mist, using his own mental conciousness as a torch to burn past it.

Blinking, Venus could see some sort of orange flame shining above her. As it cut through the curling mists binding her trapped, memory crashed back. Squeezing her eyes shut, horror creeping over her, she remember the attack. ~I was provoked so easily...~ she murmured, sadness and anger colouring her mind-voice. ~I wonder if I'm dead. This could be death I suppose.~ ~Venus?~
She jerked alert again. ~Isandre?~
In the real world, Isandre relaxed, smiling in relief. ~She's alright.~

Serrion tried to help Venus clear away all the mist. ~Venus?~ He asked her mentally. ~Are you alright Venus?~

~I will be.~ Her voice sounded relatively normal, but listening carefully you could hear the bubbling undercurrent of her emotions as they were uncovered and freed from the red mist.
In the real world, Venus stirred, gold eyes opening slowly.

Serrion watched Venus' eyes with his own gold ones. ~Thank god...~ He nuzzled Venus' neck lightly. ~You hadn't even been gone that long...~

Venus summoned a feeble smile, moving to sit up from where she'd been laid out on the ground. ~These things happen; seems like enemies just love attacking me.~ Inside, she was still reeling from discovering the identity of the killer of her clan.
~Isandre, did you find out who...?~

Serrion tilted his head. ~If your still not up to full I can offer more energy... I wanted you to be healed completely...~

Talana landed at last, folding her wings in a snapping motion while she was still a few feet off the ground. Her talons touched down on the ground. She looked at Venus in worry. "How bad's the damage?"
