Gaulroach sat, eyes closed and gathering his energy. The wound had started bleeding again, he would need to act soon in order to survive... He considered what resources he had at hand. He had his followers, at least what remained of them. The rest were likely either dead or imprisoned in Daigmar's new realm. Sheakria would fight for him of course, along with any other surviving dragon followers of his. Shade and his knights would be on his side... Humans weren't reliable in the slightest when it came to such powerful foes, but Shade himself was useful. His daughter Nerinda, who had apparently found one who might be of use. The lady Ebony of course... He had other allies too he was starting to consider calling upon. He didn't like owing favors but... This was a desperate time now. ~Issielth, I need you to come find me, It's urgent. You know why, and I think you know where I am.~

Ebony entered the room. It was amazing what a few hours of stress could do to somebody, even somebody as powerful and beautiful as Ebony. The black dragoness's scales had less than their usual luster and worry showed deeply in her eyes. Even the lines on her face had seemed to sink in a little which gave her cheekbones a hollow look that just did not suit her. She settled down in a laying relaxed position on her bed and looked at Gaulroach curiously.
"You look different... Well more than usual," she commented. Conversation she hoped would calm her down. Ebony needed energy and rest after using her magic to repair the forest as a favor for Serrion, but that could still wait.

"I am becoming less and less demonic, and more mortal. It's not much longer now." Gaulroach turned around to face Ebony. "I am calling in more help, it will be maybe half a day before they arrive on the edge of your forests. You do not have to greet them, I know you never cared too much for this one..."

Ebony met his gaze but there was something there that wasn't before on her part. She looked away without moving her head but by simply shifting her eyes to the floor. Worry? Sorrow? Pain? Somehow it was hard to describe what she appeared to be feeling at the moment.
She shifted her laying position a little. She was fidgeting, at least that much was obvious by the dull scrape her tail kept making as the hard underbelly plates and the scythe on the end kept sliding across the bed and poking the wall behind her.
"Who?" was all she said.

"You should remember from some time ago, all the time I spent with a specific pack of wyverns... One shining silver scaled wyvern in particular that was a little more dragon than all the rest."

A recognition dimly flickered behind her gaze and she smiled ever so slightly. "Ah yes... I remember her indeed. As I recall she and I never got along quite so well. Still she will be good help for facing Daigmar. I will greet her despite my dislike for her or her kind. After all, I wouldn't quite look so good in front of my followers should I choose to completely ignore her. While any spite towards Wyverns I have is known... I'd best be careful how I play our little game thus far."
Ebony's expression changed slightly, now more neutral than anything. "So how has she been?"

Gaulroach raised an eyebrow at that, then smiled and shrugged. "I have not kept much contact with her either, once I went into the darker magics I told her to stay away, incase something should happen to her. We shall have to see once she arrives."

"I am anticipating she will not be too pleased to see me either. Our last meeting was a long while ago... and it only ended in argument if I recall correctly. While both of us have grown up more over the span of time I doubt this will not have some kind of negative feelings in it. Still... I suppose I am glad to hear she is well. I will attempt to keep my own feelings under control though I will still permit myself my own voicing of thoughts when she arrives."

Gaulroach smirked walking over towards her. "Since when does anyone expect you to do anything other than speaking your mind even if it's the worst possible moment?"

Ebony chuckled- or more so giggled- which was rather uncharacteristic for her usual formal self. A grin spread across her face. Though her hollowed out stressed appearance did not suit her normal splendor, at least her smile lit up her features and made her look a bit less aged. "I suppose that is too true. There is not much that will keep me from doing so."

Gaulroach laid down beside her. "There never has been, even when you were younger and not the 'Mistress Ebony' you are now. I fear it has gotten worse now that you have the power to get away with whatever you wish."

She dropped her head comfortably to rest her chin on her front legs. She did not need to be too wary of him at the moment. After all he was not a threat now. "And it is not the same for you? What are we without our voices? We are strong yes but we need opinions and feelings. We are sentient beings after all."

He smirked, watching her. "Is that not what has caused the vast majority of these wars? Someone spoke an idea they probably should have not. Both of us were very vocal the days before the towers, that's what caused most of the messes we got into."

"We are still very vocal." She replied with a smirk of her own. Leave it to her to have a rebuttal to the statement. "Just within reason. I mean now we consider more than just our own well beings. We have servants we would prefer not to lose."
Her tail stopped etching small cuts in the walls and wrapped around her. The tip flicked against his forearm teasingly. After all even if it was off topic she always had time to mess with him.

"True, but then again there are always those we can spare. So long as it is not pointless death, a few can die if it means a greater victory. War is not without casualties." He smirked, then closed his eyes for a moment. "I do not know whether to curse or bless this damned transformation back into my mortal self. I feel like many pointless shields and swords have finally been lowered, both allowing death to strike at me but at the same time embrace that which I have missed."
