Serrion landed in a clearing of the forest, rather clumsily at that. He had been flying all day, and fighting all night. He was very tired and could not keep going much further... He would rest his wings for now, and return to his territory when he was certain Gaulroach was gone... He would tolerate the Dark Dragon while he was in the weakened state he was, taking shelter with Ebony, but that did not mean he had to talk with Gaulroach and certainly didn't mean he had to help him. Serrion stretched, moonlight glinting off his red scales.

How long had it been, a few weeks...? Maybe a month perhaps since she had last tried to make contact with her old friends. While she had been gone, Nalia had done some soul searching, mainly trying to understand herself better and the hellkite within her. Though, it had been a while ago since the last time she had spoken to Galena. After all, the hellkite liked to keep to herself and wasn't quite fond of conversation. Nalia was now returning from her explorations from the West, knowing that traveling West was the best way to avoid contact with her "clan". However, she needed to return to the land she was familiar with. Not only that, but she desperately needed to come back into contact with old friends.
It was something she missed.
The forest she had landed in was slightly unfamiliar, but she knew it to be part of the Moon Dragon's territory. With the moonlight shining down unmercifully, she was sure of it. Perhaps she would find Fury here? Nalia wasn't quite sure what the whereabouts were of her old friends. And to be quite honest, she was a bit worried with what she might find. Had Gaulroach finally done major damage? What of Serrion? Had he finally been able to kill his enemy? Sure, she had only been gone for a few weeks, but a lot of things could happen within that short time period. Especially during a time of War.
Nalia's calm blue gaze traveled across the large trees of her surroundings, slowly digesting what the forest had to offer her. A small smile formed at the corner of her mouth. Quiet. Peaceful. This forest was no doubt one of the nicest forest she had ever visited. Though, the trees were closely knit together and she had the biggest itch to open her wings to stretch them. It was hours since the last time she had the chance to do so, as she had decided to walk for the rest of the day instead of fly.
Continuing her walk through the forest she notice a strange flash of light that danced across the trees. Slowing down to a more cautious pace, she followed the source of the small 'sparkle'. As she got closer she began to notice strange red hues that played across a few of the trees. Almost as if you were to hold a ruby in the palm of your hand and shine it in the light; red shapes would form across your hand. Quietly, she snaked her head past a few trunks to get a better look into the clearing ahead.
And that was when she saw him. Serrion! Her blue eyes grew large with disbelief. It sure was a small world after all.

Serrion laid down (sphinx style) and curled his tail up against his body, wings folding and letting his body get a little needed rest. He kept his head up though, watching the sky in the unlikely event Gaulroach decided to follow him. As he was keeping his eyes skyward he really wasn't checking the ground level, and was very unlikely to notice he was being watched.

Nalia wasn't quite sure about how to present herself to him. She wasn't sure what he was doing here in the forest and didn't want to spook him by her sudden appearance. So instead of walking out into the clearing, she let out a small humming sound. It wasn't a growl, but was soft enough so that the red dragon would know she was there.

Serrion's tail twitched in response. The sound was out of place... Well it was a sound he understood, he knew it came from a dragon but... Just not why it was here and now. He lowered his gaze and looked out among the trees. Catching a glimpse of the sparkle of gold.

Nalia, knowing that Serrion knew that there was another dragon in the area, made her way out of the trees and into the clearing where her old friend resided. Coming out of the clutter of trees, the moonlight skipped across her golden scales and created their own small shapes upon the trees and ground. She quickly took advantage of the large space and unfolded her wings at her side and stretched them out wide. Folding her wings back to her sides and tilted her head and smiled at the red dragon in front of her. "Long time no see."

Serrion pushed himself back onto his claws, his eagerness to do so causing him to rather clumsily dig up the dirt around him with his talons. "Nalia..." He paused and nodded his head in greeting to her, golden eyes watching the movements of the golden scaled dragoness. "It 'has' been a long time."

She stared at him for a long moment, admiring his large structure, before nodding in agreement. As she continued to study him she noticed the weariness in his golden eyes. Nalia tried her best to read them but knew it was better to ask than guess. But despite her mild curiosity about his well-being, her large golden frills on her neck quivered with excitement at the sight of the red dragon. She moved forward to brush herself lightly against him with her body before turning back around to flank him on his left. "How have you been?"

Nalia had always been one that had held herself more apart from him than his other usual companions. He couldn't read her thoughts going by her eyes, nor that of her body language. Hers was most alien to him as he usually tried to avoid looking at her too much... He recalled several times in the past she had snapped at him because of staring for too long. Because of his avoiding looking at her he did not know whether her staring at him that long meant something, because he didn't know if she had ever watched him for that long. "I have been well." He answered truthfully. Better than... Well usual. The mess with that mad dragon that went after Venus, and now Gaulroach being at truce with Ebony... Well it was different but at the least he hadn't had to match wits or strength with the Dark Dragon as of late. His clan was a little more alive and long disappeared friends were appearing again... Nalia added onto that list. He kept her in the corner of his eyes at all times, lowering his head from the respect he had for her. "Well." He repeated his answer.

She sat down now on her haunches, similar to what a cat would do, and wrapped her long golden tail around herself. She stared ahead, studying the trunks of the forest trees as she listened to Serrion's answer, and silently curled and uncurled her tail. So he was well. Or at least, he said he was. From the tone of his voice, she could guess things had gotten slightly better since the last time she'd been in these lands. She blinked and looked over at the red dragon quietly before turning back to look forward again. "How are the others? Are they with you?" Nalia hadn't seen any other dragon about, nor could she sense anyone else in the area. But it didn't hurt to ask. She was eager to see her other old friends, but for now she was happy to be with Serrion again. It had been a long time. Even when she was here, he had business to attend to with Gaulroach or Ebony. And that was another thing... Why was he alone? Normally he would be involved in other affairs. And... well, it looked like Serrion was taking a breather for once.

"Most of them are back in my clan's territory." He answered her right away, looking off in the direction that was. "I flew off because it was getting really crowded... And... Talana's become the elder of the clan now."

Nalia raised an eyebrow and looked at Serrion. "I'm assuming that's a good thing?" She couldn't quite remember meeting a dragon named Talana. Had she ever met the other dragon...? Apparently it was someone important, as they had just become an Elder. An Elder of the Blood Dragons of all things!

Serrion nodded. "It means my clan is a little more alive again." He smiled and then nodded back to her. "What of you?" He asked curiously, he was wondering where she had been all this time. It was hard to tell with Nalia, he could almost never tell what was on the golden dragoness' mind.

She looked down at the ground and made small doodles in the ground with one of her claws, slightly aggravated by the question. She knew he'd ask it at some point in their conversation, but it was still hard for her to talk freely about her own whereabouts and it made her slightly angry, though she didn't know why. "I traveled to the West to think about things." She said truthfully. "Galena was starting to make me worried, and I thought it was best to leave familiarities behind and learn more about her." It was true. Even though the hellkite inhabited her mind, she still knew nothing about it. Perhaps that was why Serrion's question irritated her, because she hadn't learned anything new about Galena.

Serrion nodded, content with her answer. He only smiled and went on, mostly oblivious to the irritation in her voice. Normally, with her, he would have noticed it but now he was simply too tired and too happy to see her. "Will you be staying for awhile then? In mine and the moon dragon's territories?" He tilted his head with the question.
