"I have a feeling these two will. They seem more attached than the ones I've seen before... Well if only during a quick visit. Aleiko...he interests me. Aisling as well. I'd like to get to know them as well if I may?" Tatsu asked. "There may be something I can teach them about spirits. After all who knows spirits better than a spirit?"

Tiamat's smile grew into a grin.
"I hope so. And that would definitely be much appreciated, Tatsu! I know that Aleiko for certain will want to talk with you; he hasn't seen many other Eastern dragons before, and I'm willing to wager that he'll have more than a few questions."
"Heh. I'd join in with this death-related discussion, but I think your apprentices would rather listen to someone less..." Thanthero looked up speculatively, a smile curling across his face when he found the right word. "Antisocial."

"Antisocial? Whatever gave you that idea, Thanthero?" Tatsu asked, a low chuckle reverberating from his chest. "Still I think they'd benefit from having a chat with you too perhaps. It might be a good idea for the two of them to hear different sides of the coin."
The blue Eastern paused to lick his lips and sighed. "Gotta get used to that too. I forgot mouths dry out if you don't bother to pause much in a sentence."

"Oh, I'd give them the other side of the coin, all right."
Tiamat rolled her eyes, mane ruffling with her dramatic sigh. "Don't you go dragging them off to your deathly palace or anything. I can't be having them traumatised or suffering from shock. Those two need nurturing, not scaring to death!"
Thanthero disguised his laughter as a sharp cough.
"Well, Tatsu - if you aren't used to talking yet, why not get used to being in a body again by having a little spar with me?" His fangs glinted in the half-light. "Like I said, it's been a while."

Tatsu tilted his head and strands of his mane fell into his face. He promptly brushed them out of his eyes and retorted to the challenge with a smirk. "As I recall, Thanthero, you actually managed to lose the last time we sparred. You're ready to lose again so soon?" Cocky of course, but the teasing couldn't be helped. Thanthero was the sorest loser in the book and it was just so fun to provoke him.

"Tch! A lucky victory... and didn't you have more than one dragon on your side, hm? I don't think you can take full credit for the win, if my memory recalls correctly." Than slanted a smirk. "Which it always does."
Tiamat sighed.
"... nothing changes. If you two are going to go off and butt heads, I'll use a substitute strength spell on you, Tatsu, until those two mischief-makers of mine find the proper scroll."

Tatsu smiled, "Seems fair to me Tia. And you both know it couldn't be avoided very well. Time I give Thanthero a little attitude adjustment once more. He's too cocky at the moment for his own good." He snorted as if to prove the point, giving Thanthero a bat with his fluffy tail-tip again. "Ah I will most likely abuse the ability to hit you again, Than. Prepare for it."

A few flicks of her talons in the air and a spell glowed golden - Tiamat blew it softly in Tatsu's direction, waiting for it to sink into his skin and take effect. "Than's attitude is a few pegs too high of the board - but hasn't it always been that way?"
Thanthero, predictably, was unrepentant. "Better to have an attitude problem than to be a wallflower."

"Oi! You calling me a wallflower, Thanthero?" He asked, feeling his strength renew after Tiamat's spell. "If you are, that's an instant challenge. You're definitely going down now Thanthero!" His tail lashed violently back and forth as his muscles tensed and relaxed. This would be a fight to remember!

Thanthero snickered, dancing backwards and towards the retreating passage. His eyes gleamed, citrine and sharp.
"Come on then, Tatsu... let's see if being a spirit has made you any better at avoiding my magic."
Tiamat rolled her eyes silently, mentally cataloguing the many healing spells in her inventory. She had a feeling she would be needing a few, if Tatsu and Thanthero had anything to do with it.
(Shall we start doing the two apprentices now, as well? I think if they watch the fight, they'll pick up some stuff?)

(Sure ^^)
Aleiko sighed, looking over the many stacks of scrolls and such. Though they were organized it was hard to find a spell when you had one specifically in mind. "Any luck yet, Aisling?" he asked with a hopeful voice. A sort of anticipation in the back of his mind had him worked up and though he was not quite sure why he really wished to get back to Tiamat immediately. "I have a feeling something big's about to happen. Do you?"

Aisling nudged her way through one of the larger piles, displaced from the shelves and scattered in one of the many ground-level stores. "Not yet... but it has to be here somewhere! I wish it'd just turn itself in and we could get back... I'd like to talk to Tia and her friend Tatsu some more. It's nice to have some more company!"

"Yeah... normally I don't like newcomers but I admit I'm fascinated by them all. Tatsu seems nice but like I said Thanthero's going to take getting used to if he sticks around," Aleiko said with a laugh. He suddenly let out an 'AHA!" of triumph, snatching up a scroll in his talons. "Got it! Right? Double check me in case I'm wrong just so we don't have to run back here again if I am."

"I have to agree with you there; spending so long in the Earth always makes me feel a little cautious around strangers, but the Doran were always welcoming, so I guess I'll have to emulate them... you've found it? Great!"
Aisling grinned brightly, jade eyes sparkling as she darted over to double-check the signature of the spell scroll.
"That's it! C'mon, let's get moving! Maybe we can learn some more about spirits from Tatsu! Or maybe even some harder spells..."

"Sounds perfect to me!" he agreed in utter excitement. He carefully cradled it as he walked on three legs to follow behind Aisling. "Wait up! You know I have trouble keeping up when I don't hold stuff with my tail!" he begged when he felt he was falling behind her.
