((Powers are allowed, but only one per wolf. You can also make them have designs and unusual attributes like wings and oddly shaped markings. Odd colors and color combinations are allowed. So if you've got a purple wolf I'm not going to yell.
I have a plot, you'll see. I first want to see if anybody besides myself is interested in a wolf roleplay. The usual stuff about power playing and all apply, I shouldn't have to say it.
I'm going to go ahead and introduce my wolf and wait to see if anybody is going to join in.))

The russet fea laid asleep in the den of the alphas, her parents. All of the packlands were abandoned now, except for a few wolves who had escaped. Danger lurked for her.
She had seen the fire. In fact, she had done nothing to stop the blaze from spreading. She had heard the desperate howls of the trapped wolves, the yelping, the terrified sounds of young pups. Even the quiet understanding of the old wolves that were the elders of the pack haunted her...
The river had run red. After a fight with their enemies, the river had started to run red. Not from blood, just a bright red color that should not have been there in the once crystaline waters. The water was still safe to drink, but it was uninviting to most.
After that, the fire had spread further. Not only had it burned her pack's lands, but the lands of a few surrounding packs. The only way to be able to survive would be to seek out those wolves who had survived and combine the strays into a pack...They all knew. But yet, none had sent up a howl yet. None wanted to be the one who would be the leader.
Why? Why had such a tragedy put itself upon the packs of the island? What had MoonCrest Pack ever done? Or Herushi Pack? Or even Yentai Pack? All three clans had been destroyed....But really...Why?
She suddenly snapped open and shook herself all over, bolting from the den into the silver moonlight and howling as loud as possible. It was one word, stretched to the skies. "WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?" as loud as she could manage....And then she fell silent as the sorrow prevented her voice.

( never Wolf rped before, but I'll give this a try anyways. Powers are allowed right? )
A misty black wolf watched her from sitting beside a tree just a little off tothe side. His eyes were a faint golden and there was a red scar across both the eyes. His jet black fur seemed to blend into the shadows from the trees. His eyes watched her carefully, he could see her despite the normal way the scars would have damaged his seeing. he was silent and didn't seem interested in walking into the open, he almost wasn't moving except for soft breath and the odd flick of his tail.

She sat there in her silent sorrow, gazing blankly upon the blank forest. The charred tree stumps and the stench of the dead brought a new pain to her already heavy heart. She could have stopped the fire...But she hadn't. She could have died with them, burned in the blaze, but she ran. She was afraid. And she survived while all her family, friends, and even wolves she didn't know...Wolves that had their whole life ahead of them....Gone forever.

The black wolf stepped out of the trees and came within five feet of the fe. he stood side to side with her, just looking the way she was, not even looking at her. "Fires are a strange phenomenon, a new begining for eventually these dead tree will be gone and new ones grow in their place, as our kind will eventually reinhabit this territory and live off the new animals that take the place of their dead ancestors."

She jumped slightly. She turned to look at the unfamiliar wolf. "Yes...you're right...But it doesn't help the pain...the suffering...Why of all wolves was it I who survived this?" She dropped her tail and ears in a sad manner as she spoke. Her voice was strained.

"Because you were the first to run and look for safe hiding." He answered her, but still not looking at her. "You were the only one to try and find shelter, to escape from the flames. Others stayed to try and help others, and they were all killed instead of helping anyone."

"But why just me? Why was I the only coward to run instead of facing fate? Instead of trying to save those who were completely innocent? I should have tried to help them save the pups...or the elders...Or...I don't know anymore...I just feel like I failed them all."

"Have you really failed them?" He asked her. "They were destind to die in this fire, it's the way things were ment to be. Obviously you were ment to run away so you could survive. Is it not better to let the pack go so another can survive? Rather then the pack die and no others replace it?"

"I hadn't thought of it that way... I suppose you're right..." The russet stated. "Though it's sort of sad...Not only was it my pack...But so many others who had no warning. Other packs who did not a thing to us...And now they lack many survivors as well."

"How would you know they have no survivors?" He asked her, looking over at her finally with a tilted head. "Have you been through the whole dead forest to see whether there is survivors or not. If there is, would they really stay in a dead forest when there are living lands out there. You were probably not the only to survive."

"I said 'not many' not that there were none...Truthfully I didn't bother looking yet. I was waiting to see if anyone would send out a howl in search of anyone who had lived through the blaze." she admitted, looking slightly embarrassed.

"Then why don't you howl?" He asked her, his pupiless eyes watching her carefully. It was hard to notice, and most wouldn't take notice, he was standing in her shadow, despite the position of the sun all shadows seemed to point to this wolf, his own fur seeming to blend with these shadows. He sat down, still just watching her. "If you don't they might never howl. They might all just be waiting for howls that will never come, like you are."

The sunlight hit the fea's back and made her glow a deep golden red. "Perhaps I should...But tell me this...Who are you to know all this wisdom? Are you from my pack? Another pack? Or are you not even from this island?"

"I am called Shadow." He answered her with a curt nod. "I am not from your pack, no. Nor from any pack that was in the forest before it burnt down. I was a wanderer, looking for a place right for me."
