The rune on Ellie's neck flared with a surge of bright gold light which took even her by surprise. Blinking, she murmured; "Looks like I'm back to full power too." Sarosh grinned ferally, wings unfolding from his back. "They'll rue the day they mess with this Ariel."
Ellie glanced around, the shimmer from the rune casting a warm glow which pooled around her. "Why don't you guys get some sleep - I've already had mine." She smiled. "I'll keep watch from outside."

Lutalo shook his head. "I don't sleep." Marlie looked at him. You don't? Not ever? He nodded. "Not ever. I don't run off it...I run off of shadows.[/i] Alieron's fireball disappeared. "Well I don't need sleep either."

"You should still." Ellie stated gently but firmly, poking Alieron in the arm, before turning to Lutalo. "But since you don't sleep, maybe you should make up the shield. I can go patrol."
Sarosh shrugged. "I'll have a quick nap, but you better wake me if anything comes up..." A warning glare around the room informed everyone how angry he would be if not told.

Marlie turned into a wolf again and curled up on the couch, shoving Alieron in the process. He just sighed. "Alright fine, I'll get some more sleep. But you'd better wake me up if anything happens at all!" Lutalo nodded. His eyes flashed purple and the entire house became dark as a shadowy bubble appeared around the house. "Only certain things can get in and out...Meaning us."

Sarosh sat with his back against the wall, arms and wings folded, giving one last grin, before closing his eyes. Ellie nodded at Alieron, before moving quietly out of the front door, preparing to patrol.

Marlie stretched out. She took up the whole couch, so Alieron just slumped on the chair he'd been sitting in earlier. Be careful Ellie! Marlie stated before she fell asleep.

Ellie heard the message as she stepped outside, and nodded, the pale glow from her shoulder lighting the way. Moving cautiously through the grounds, she halted at a noise in the bushes. She couldn't risk searching using her mind again in case the Reverse were nearby. Instead, she allowed a little of her internal light to show until the whole area was illuminated. Nothing. Turning, she continued on around the building.
Half an hour later, the girl was sat muleishly by the front gate, legs crossed, white sundress now grimy. 'I could use a nap myself...'
Placing her trust in Lucalo's barrier, she walked slowly back inside, eyes flicking left to right. A shifting shadow to her left gave her cause to stop, but casting light over it, she discerned it was only a fox. But now her nerves were on edge, so she stayed outside until the moon was high, and her powers were at their lowest ebb. Now feeling the tiredness, she finally returned inside, moving into the room where she assumed everyone was still asleep.

Lutalo was sitting outside the door of the house, staring up at the moon. The purple in his eyes, under this light, seemed like small storm clouds. He was a handsome fellow...the kind the girls swooned over, and yet he looked so alone. He could not touch anyone, for it would hurt them. He could not show anyone his power, or they were afraid. He could not show affection, for most rejected it. A terrible existence really.

Ellie stepped into the room. No sign of the Reverse yet, but maybe it would be best to do a sweep. Yes...her shields would hold now she knew how strong her Reverse was. Settling down, crossed-legged in the frame of the door, she conjured a large golden eagle to guard her, until she fell into a medititative trance, sending her conciousness sweeping across the city, searching, a wave of pure light.

There was everyone, asleep in the other room...and Lutalo outside. She scoured the city, and halted when she recognized a presence - a tainted, jaded presence.
No way...
The fox in the garden. It had been the Earth Reverse! From her search, she determined that Reverse powers were beginning to gather in the city square on the other side of town. Not good. Immediately breaking away and back to the real world, Ellie scrambled to her feet, the eagle following. "Guys, get up! Up, now! I've found them!"

Marlie, completely alert even when asleep, woke with a yelp. She leaped to her feet and growled, curling her lip. Where are they? I can sense my Reverse nearby! Alieron also got up. He folded his arms. "So I assume you found them?" Lutalo, who had followed Ellie in, nodded.

"A square, the other side of the city. The Earth Reverse was scouting out here to check we were still busy back here. They know where we are, but they were just using that threat as a diversion. So we have to go. Now." Sarosh, who had leapt to his feet, nodded grimly. "Let's go."

Marlie stayed in this angry position. She looked like anything that would scare a normal person...An angry wolf that wanted blood on its fangs. Alieron's hands started to glow orange. His fire powers wanted to come out and fight. He smiled slightly. It was bound to be slightly fun. Lutalo fluttered his wings slightly, a few purple feathers littering the floor along with the debris from Marlie leaping through the window earlier. "We should move..." he stated, turning towards the door and walking away at a slow pace.

Ellie nodded decisively. "Right. The square is in the western sector near the city hall." Sarosh turned to the small Light girl. "Do you want me to lend you my powers so you can travel quicker?" Ellie nodded gratefully - she had no method of travel of her own, so she waited patiently while the air sprite worked his magic.
Moments later, a pair of white wings curled from her back, as Sarosh unveiled his own. With a click of her fingers, the rune of her shoulder faded slightly, giving the girl an eerie gold glow. Sarosh took off out the door, followed by Elanor.

Alieron formed a firebird and stood on it. He smiled. "Good thing I'm rested enough to do this now!" It carried him to the others in a brilliant blaze of wings. Lutalo muttered 'show off' and unfurled his huge purple wings. Marlie turned into a water phoenix and spread out her own blue wings.
